McKeehen Folds to Davies' Shove

Nível 1 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The board read {9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} with almost 30,000 in the middle already.

Seth Davies bet 8,000 from the cutoff and Joe McKeehen called on the button.

The river completed the board with the {10-Spades}, Davies shoved and McKeehen quickly let his hand go.

Cortes Eliminated First

Nível 1 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Jesús Cortes
Jesús Cortes

Jesus Cortes raised to 2,500 from the hijack and Igor Kurganov three-bet to 13,000 in the small blind. Lucas Reeves called in the big blind and so did Cortes.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, Kurganov check-called the 16,500 continuation-bet of Cortes while Reeves check-folded.

The turn brought them the {q-Clubs}, Kurganov checked again. Cortes bet 25,000 and Kurganov responded with a shove. Cortes snap-called but saw it wasn't good as he held {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for the flopped set of fives while Kurganov held the higher set with {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}.

Only a five would help Cortes but the river completed the board with the {4-Spades}. Kurganov's stack was counted first and was 73,500. Cortes' stack was then counted and he had 71,000 behind to be the first to be sent back to the registration desk.

The Last Single-Day High Roller Set to Start at 3 PM

PCA
PCA

With 3 Single-Day High Rollers in the book, today’s it’s time for the final one to start at 3 PM here at the Atlantis Resort. Yes, the $25,000 Single-Day High Roller II during the last few days of the 2019 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is likely to attract all the usual suspects but it also depends on how they are doing in the Main Event.

Sean Winter took the first $25,000 Single-Day down by defeating David Peters heads-up on a second day which ended up lasting only three hands. Rainer Kempe edged out Alex Foxen in the first $50,000. And last night, Timothy Adams laid claim to a PokerStars Spade by knocking out Stephen Chidwick with their own version of poker, JokerPoker. So, who will sweep up the last Single-Day High Roller Spade?

Each player will get 100,000 in chips in return for their buy-in, with blinds starting at 500/1,000/1,000 for the first two 30-minute levels. The registration and reentry period is scheduled to close at the start of Level 9 with one single reentry allowed. A 15-minute break is scheduled after every four levels with an 80-minute dinner break after the eight level. But as always, things are subject to change.

A shot clock will be in play from the start, giving each player 30 seconds to take a decision. Six time bank cards will be given to the players with an extra three to be handed out once the final table has been reached.

Keep following the action from the floor as the PokerNews live reporting team will be on hand from the first card of the deck until the final river has been dealt.
