Updated Chip Counts

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Markus Durnegger just eliminated Dan Shak and Frederic Delval in a hand we didn't see.

Aces for Adams

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Timothy Adams raised to 4,000 in the hijack and Alex Foxen defended from the big blind. The flop fell {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades} and Foxen checked to Adams who continued for 2,500. Foxen check-raised to 8,500 and Adams called.

The {8-Hearts} on the turn double-paired the board and both players checked to the {10-Hearts} on the river. Foxen led out for another 11,500 and Adams eventually made the call. Foxen showed the {9-Spades}, indicating that was his high card and Adams tabled {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} to scoop the pot.

Beat From Speranza Eliminates Pardo

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Juan Pardo
Juan Pardo

Gianluca Speranza raised to 4,500 on the button and Juan Pardo made it 13,500 in the small blind. Speranza said he was all in, which looked to be for around 50,000, and Pardo quickly called on it off.

Juan Pardo: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Gianluca Speranza: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Pardo was in good shape until the {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{a-Spades} left him with only one out. The {a-Diamonds} turn increased it to two but the {7-Diamonds} river just gave Speranza aces full.

Kovalski Takes Out Ferreira

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Rui Ferreira was all in for his last 30,000 chips and was up against Fabiano Kovalski on his left. Ferreira turned over {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and held a slight lead against the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} of Kovalski.

The flop came {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts} to give Kovalski a pair of aces and the lead. Ferreira was in need of a deuce but the {5-Spades} on the turn and the {3-Spades} on the river provided no such help.

Mikita Badziakouski and Francois Billard were also seen exiting the tournament area after running out of chips.

Bonomo Forces on Foxen

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Justin Bonomo bet 24,000 on a board of {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{4-Spades} from the big blind and Alex Foxen tanked into a bank and then dropped in a chip before he had to use another. The river was the {3-Diamonds} and Bonomo jammed. Foxen had just under 40,000 left but folded instantly.

Two Pair for Boeree

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress opened to 5,000 from middle position and Liv Boeree was the only player to give action out of the small blind. The flop came {7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {j-Spades} on the turn.

Boeree checked again and Dvoress tossed in a bet of 8,000. Boeree stuck around to see the {6-Spades} on the river and checked one more time. Dvoress fired out another 26,000 and Boeree quickly called. Dvoress tabled {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for top pair but Boeree rivered two pair with {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Immediate Bustouts

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Doesn't Take Long for Seidel to Bust

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Erik Seidel was one of the late entries to the tournament today and he didn't last very long in his seat. Seidel was seen heading out the door and his chips were being pushed to Stephen Chidwick.

The cards were still laid out on the table with Seidel holding {7-}{7-} and Chidwick with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}. The board read {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} giving each player a set, but Chidwick's set of nines on the river was enough to eliminate Seidel.
