Viktor Blom was eliminated in the €2,700 Warm Up and immediately after registered for Day 1a of the €5,300 Main Event to double up shortly after sitting down with a flopped straight. Steve O'Dwyer lost a big pot after calling the river bet of Tomasz Chmiel when he was unable to beat the pocket kings of the Pole and dropped to fewer than half the starting stack.
