There were about 1,600,000 chips in the pot and the completed board read 
when we got to the table. The player in the small blind had already committed 1,175,000 on the river and his lone opponent, Michael Sklenicka, had shoved from the cutoff with a stack of approximately 12,000,000. The small blind had about 3,000,000 chips remaining and went into the tank for over a minute before he called.
The small blind showed 
for the bottom end of the straight, but Sklenicka tabled 
for the top end, so he took the pot to eliminate his opponent and break the money bubble.

There was a substantial pot of about 5,000,000 in the middle and the completed board read 
when we got to the table. Thomas Scholze bet 3,500,000 from the hijack and his lone opponent, the player in the big blind, went into the tank. Eventually, the clock was called, and shortly after tournament staff arrived at the table, the big blind folded. The dealer pushed the pot Scholze's way and he stacked his newly-acquired chips.

The PokerNews Live Reporting team was informed that in a hand just before the break, Rainer Kempe opened to 350,000 from the hijack and Stefan Schillhabel called from the big blind.

The turn brought an offsuit

Boatman then informed us that he and the same player had recently gotten into another big hand. Previously, Boatman held kings and ran into his opponent's aces.
