Paul Zimbler opened with a raise under the gun to 35,000, picking up Paulo Anderson in middle position and Jonathan Pearson next to act, with both blinds moving out of the way.
The dealer spread a flop, with Zimbler quickly continuing for 41,000. He raised his hand and opened his mouth but, before any words could come out, both players had quickly folded, and the pot was being pushed in his direction.
Zimbler then turned to the tournament director, "I tried bluffing once today," he took a sip of his drink, "and I'll probably do one more before the end of the night."

Now we start Day 1C, which is to be played out over eight 30-minute levels at The Level at Melia Caribe Tropical in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. All of this flight's survivors will collaborate with the 232 runners that made it through yesterday, and 282 runners that got through today, for Day 2, starting tomorrow. The eventual winner will lift the trophy on Saturday 25th, having made their way through five days of poker.
