Holz Provides Back-to-Back Doubles Novak and Grospellier

Nível 14 : 3,000/6,000, 750 ante

A good portion of Fedor Holz's previous stack was sent quickly to Andrii Novak and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier.

First, it was Novak who doubled. Holz jammed from the small blind and Novak called off for 169,635. Novak's {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} held up against the {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} held by Holz after the {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} ran out on the board.

The very next hand it was Grospellier's turn to double up, but unlike the previous hand, this one was a bad beat for Holz. Grospellier four-bet jammed with {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and ran into the {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} held by Holz. The {3-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{8-Hearts} board gave Grospellier a flush to double his stack.

Holz Over 500K After Felting Badziakowski

Nível 13 : 2,500/5,000, 600 ante

Fedor Holz opened for 10,500 from the hijack and Mikita Badziakouski defended from the big blind.

Badziakouski check-called a bet of 17,500 on the {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop and check-called a bigger bet of 50,000 on the {5-Clubs} turn. The {9-Clubs} river completed the board and Badziakouski checked again. Holz jammed and after using some of his time bank, Badziakouski called off for 147,661.

Holz turned over {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for the nuts and won the hand to soar over 500K in chips after taking all of Badziakouski's chips who held {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

Watson Doubles with Cowboys

Nível 13 : 2,500/5,000, 600 ante

Rui Ferreira opened for 10,500 from middle position before he called a button-jam by Michael Watson to 74,479 from the button.

Michael Watson: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Rui Ferreira: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

The cowboys held on the {2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts} board and Watson doubled.

Jacks Propel Alavali Back Into the Lead

Nível 13 : 2,500/5,000, 600 ante

Aleksejs Ponakovs open-jammed for 68,156 from under the gun and was called by Jargo Alavali from the small blind.

Aleksejs Ponakovs: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Jargo Alavali: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Alavali took the chip lead while sending Ponakovs to the rail at least for now after his jacks won a flip on the {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs} board.

Malinowski Still in the Lead to Start Level 13

Nível 13 : 2,500/5,000, 600 ante

There were 100 entrants with 56 players remaining to start Level 13. Here is a look at the top five on the leaderboard with Wiktor Malinowski still on top.

$1 Million Guarantee Met!

Nível 12 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

The field has grown to 100 entrants with 58 players remaining. This means that the $1 million guarantee has already been met and now each additional entry over the next hour will add to the final prize pool.

Set of Snowmen for Daniels

Nível 12 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Michael Addamo opened for 8,000 from under the gun before he called a jam to 75,563 by Shawn Daniels from the cutoff.

Shawn Daniels: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Michael Addamo: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Addamo was favored and even more so after the {10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop and the {5-Diamonds} turn. However, the {8-Clubs} came raining down on the river to give Daniels a set and a double-up.
