H-06: $25,500 Sunday Five Million [2-Day Event]
Dia 2 Iniciado
The 2021 GG Spring Festival officially kicked off yesterday and more than $15 million in guarantees sent the record-setting series off to a flying start. And on the second day of the festival, the first millionaire will be crowned unless a deal is cut in Event H-06: $25,500 Sunday Five Million. The lion's share of the $5 million guarantee is up for grabs and the tournament caused a minor overlay of just $50,000 as 198 entries emerged.
Only nine players remain in contention and a very familiar face of the international high-stakes poker scene sits atop the leaderboard. Andras Nemeth is the odds-on favorite with a massive stack of 5,972,752, as he holds more than his nearest followers Guillaume Nolet (2,557,181) and Francisco "VaPaCooler" Benitez (2,324,245) have combined at their disposal.
Not far behind is a trio of notables including Elio Fox (2,306,206), Benjamin Rolle (2,300,124), and Matthias Eibinger (1,813,000). Among the short stacks below 1 million in chips are Yuri Dzivielevski (975,172), FlowTao" (874,592), and Juan Pardo Dominguez (676,728).

Big Blinds based on the final table roll-back to ensure an average of at least 40 blinds
To secure an average stack of at least 40 big blinds, the blinds are slated to roll back to 25,000/50,000 with a running ante of 6,000. Unlike the structure for Day 1, each level for the remainder of the tournament will feature 20 hands until the winner has been crowned.
All finalists have $108,489 locked up and the winner is destined to earn a payday of $1,084,892. However, deals are permitted on this final table and thus the final amounts may be different.
Upon returning to their seats at 8.05 p.m. GMT, the nine finalists will draw for their seats in order of chip count from lowest to highest. Once that process is completed, the action will kick off and the PokerNews live reporting team will be there to provide all the key hands.
