"But you should have seen like he acted on the flop," Sabina Hiatullah said when we suddenly noticed the big stack of Leonid Markin. From what we could gather, the Russian had flopped the nut straight with on a flop of and a short stack had moved all in. Another player stayed in and turned a set of tens to bust in the same hand as well.

The name Thom Gerrits didn't really ring a bell, but we saw his name behind a who mountain of chips and decided to investigate.
Gerrits played a big pot earlier he told us, one where he would flop a flush and get paid.
Gerrits flatted a 1,000 raise with and got squeezed on behind him to 4,300. The initial raiser made the call and so did Gerrits.
The flop would come as beautiful as it could with . Both the initial raiser and Gerrits checked to the agressor who bet 5,000. Gerrits eventually check raised to 12,225 and received a call.
Gerrits would then bet 12,725 on an turn and 23,000 all in on an off suit river. His opponent made the call holding for two pair both times, but could hit the shower soon after because of it.
A table over Dennis Smit is seated, another Dutchie with a more than reasonable stack. Smit has just over 100,000 in front of him after he just bet the river for 8,200 in a rather big pot with the board displaying . His opponent folded and left the pot to Smit.

Craig McCorkell raised to 700 from middle position before Victor Lavi bumped it up to 3,050 from the button. Andreas Wittke was on the small blind and moved all in for his remaining 17,650 in chips. The big blind folded as did McCorkell. Lavi thought for a minute before making the call.
Lavi:
Wittke:
Wittke was able to dodge all his opponents outs as the board ran out to see him race up to 36,900 in chips.
The dealer made sure Lavi had placed in the right amount before scooping the pot over to WIttke.
“This time you didn’t make mistake,” said Lavi, suggesting something that happened earlier in play.
“I rarely make mistakes but when I do I apologise and the person always says it fine,” said the dealer, sounding frustrated at how he’d been talked to today.

There was an open to 1,100 from the under-the-gun player and Mustapha Kanit put out the call. Asher Neaman was in the small blind and he made as if to raise and then said he had better just call after all. The big blind called as well and they saw a flop of .
Neaman bet out 4,075 and the big blind and the initial aggressor folded. As Neaman went to collect back his bet Kanit stopped him and reminded him he was still in the pot.
“Wait, wait. You always have a customer. I call.” Kanit said and made the call. They then checked the turn card and saw the come on the river.
“Bet small and I pay you.” Kanit told Neaman who wanted to know how much to bet. “Five or six kay. I have the nine. There I’ve told you my hand.”
They both checked and Neaman showed which was the winner against the of Kanit.

As we approached table 13 we already saw a big pot brewing with Dan Shak making the call for 16,000 total from the small blind. Apparently it went raise to 1,100, three-bet to 2,600 by Sergii Baranov, cold four-bet to 8,000 by Shak, five-bet to 16,000 by Barnaov, call by Shak.
Both players checked the flop and the popped up on the turn. Shak bet out 18,000 and Baranov made the call from middle position.
The river brought a fourth heart to the table: . Shak thought for just a bit before announcing all in. He had a whole lot of chips still in front of him, but most were small denominations with towers of 25 and 100 chips.
Baranov made the call and Shak immediately asked is his opponent had the king of hearts. Shak than showed his first but would soon find out the river was about the worst card in the deck for him. It had given Baranov a full house with his and Shak's cards went face down into the muck.
The two talked a little bit about what would have happened if the river was any other heart than the queen of hearts while the dealer counted the stacks. Baranov had well over 30,000 and covered Shak. Shak gathered his things and made his way to the exit.

Pierre Chevalier had gained his big stack after flopping a set of threes and knocking out an opponent with pocket queens for the overpair. Just now he had exactly that hand to send Ole Schemion to the rail. The Frenchman squeezed a hefty reraise to 10,000 after a limp and the raise of Schemion to 2,000 and the German called.
On the flop, Chevalier bet 15,000 and Schemion moved all in for 28,000 with pocket jacks. Chevalier called with queens and both the turn and river bricked.
