This year EPT London has a bit more meaning for one reporter for the PokerStars Blog. A tenth anniversary, not in years perhaps but in EPT Seasons and London is where it all began. Years later, now institutionalised, he takes a look back on the highlights of that event in London and the high points that came in between, including reporting in the dark, and a mad dash into a Berlin store cupboard.

. Dermott Blain checked the small blind, Chun Ho Law checked the big blind and Benny Spindler bet 2,100. Blain put out the call but Law sprang a raise to 5,700. First Spindler and then a frustrated Blain folded.
Law was encouraged to show the bluff and he showed the 
. Blain wanted to know Spindler’s hand asking, “Did you have me beat Benny? I had king-jack.” Spindler shook his head. “I’m not having much fun today.” Blain chuckled as he contemplated his meagre stack.
