Heath Three-Bets Flop

Artur Martirosian opened to 2,500 from early position. Laszlo Bujtas called on the button as did Jean-Noel Thorel from the small blind.

Ben Heath elected to raise to 21,500 from the big blind. Martirosian and Thorel made the call and Bujtas folded.

Thorel checked the K♥2♠J♣ flop and Heath bet 7.000. Martirosian folded and Thorel put in 11,000. There was a discrepancy as to whether the Frenchman called or raised but it was soon clarified by the floor. Thorel made it the minimum 14,000.

Heath then three-bet to 42,000 and Thorel called. He checked the 4♥ turn before Heath barrelled for 75,000. Thorel used a time bank before folding his hand leaving Heath with a decent pot.

Bujtas Wins Small Pot from Mateos

Nível 2 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Laszlo Bujtas raised to 2,500 from under the gun, Ben Heath called, then Adrian Mateos three-bet to 9,000. Bujtas called and Heath folded.

Action went heads-up to the flop, which came Q♥6♦A♠. Bujtas checked and Mateos continued for 4,500, which Bujtas called. The turn was the 8♣. Bujtas checked again and Mateos bet 11,000, which Bujtas called.

The river was the 5♣ and both players checked to showdown. Bujtas showed A♦Q♦ for two pair and Mateos mucked.

As the hand was going, Niklas Astedt, one of the most successful online poker players in the world, joined the table.

Dvoress Calls River Bluff With Jacks

Artur Martirosian raised to 2,500 from late position and Daniel Dvoress three-bet to 12,500 from the button, which Martirosian called.

The flop came 4♦3♦6♥ and both players checked. The turn was the 2♥. Martirosian led out for 18,000 and Dvoress called.

The river came the 8♥. Martirosian bet out again, this time for 22,000 and Dvoress called. Martirosian showed K♦Q♦ for a busted flush draw that he'd turned into a bluff. Dvoress flipped J♥J♦ for pocket jacks to win the pot.

Mateos Runs into Aces

Action was picked up when Jean-Noel Thorel reraised all in preflop after Adrian Mateos had opened. The players showed their holdings and Thorel had the best of it but was covered.

The flop of 8♠2♦6♥ was as good as it gets for Thorel's aces and only running kings would mean Mateos would win. The turn 8♣ confirmed the double up for Thorel, who made a full house on the 8♥ river.

Bujtas Takes Pot With Turn Bet

Ben Heath raised to 2,500 from early position and Laszlo Bujtas reraised to 12,000 from the small blind, which Heath called.

The flop came 3♠Q♠5♦. Bujtas continued for 7,000 and Heath called. The turn came the A♦ and both players checked.

The river came the J♦. Bujtas led for 11,000 and Heath made the fold to give him the pot.

Mateos Finds Call on the River

Action folded around to Adrian Mateos opened from the button to 2,500. Daniel Dvoress defended the big blind.

Dvoress checked the K♥10♥Q♣ flop to Mateos who bet 2,500 once again. Dvoress made the call. The 4♦ turn was checked around.

On the 10♦ river, Dvoress fired a bet of 7,000. Mateos used almost his whole 30 seconds before tossing in a calling chip.

Dvoress showed J♥7♠ for jack high and Mateos tabled A♠4♣ for two pair.

Chidwick Chips Up

Stephen Chidwick opened to 2,500 from middle position and was called by Tsugunari Toma from the hijack. Juan Pardo defended the big blind.

Pardo checked the J♠Q♠10♣ flop to Chidwick who fired a bet of 1,000. Tsugunari Toma elected to reraise to 3,500 and Pardo folded, Chidwick took most of the allotted 30 seconds before putting in the three-bet to 15,000. Toma made the call.

Chidwick then led out on the K♦ turn, sizing up to 40,000. Toma made a quick fold and left Chidwick with a decent sized pot.
