Mateusz Wozniak opened in the hijack before being three-bet to 1,700 by Darius Gadeikis next to act. The action quickly folded back to Wozniak and he made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of J76, and Wozniak check-called a continuation bet of 2,500.

When the 5 hit the turn, Wozniak checked and Gadeikis fired 6,000 into the middle. Wozniak then check-raised all-in for 23,200, forcing Gadeikis to tank-fold.

Rebai Claims Pot With Turn Bet

The flop came KAQ. Andreev checked, Rebai bet 1,500 and Andreev called. The turn came the 3. Andreev checked again and Rebai sized up to 6,000. Andreev folded and Rebai took down the pot.

Khalil Youssafi, in the big blind, bet out for 2,500. Archibald Seaton, who was under the gun, put in a big raise to 15,000 and Youssafi went deep into the tank, finally making the call.

Seaton tabled KJ for a flopped full house, while Youssafi folded Q10 face up for a rivered straight.

The 255 flop saw Youssafi check-call a bet of 600 from Gabarre.

The 10 turn checked through to the 7river. Youssafi bet out for 3,000 and Gabarre snap-folded the 10 face up. Youssafi dragged the pot in, flashing the A for the nut flush as he did so.

Day 1 of €3,000 EPT Mystery Bounty Gets Underway at 2 p.m.

The 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Paris here at the Le Palais des Congrès continues today with the €3,000 Mystery Bounty. Day 1 of this three-day event kicks off this afternoon at 2 p.m local time.

In 2023, it was Humberto Lopes Galindo who emerged victorious after besting a field of 787 players. Lopes Galindo lay claim to the lion's share of the €1,328,456 prize pool, taking home €243,656 for the first-place prize.

This is the second Mystery Bounty tournament to take place at EPT Paris, with Duco ten Haven taking down the €10,200 Mystery Bounty last week. Ten Haven triumphed over Quan Zhou in heads-up play to claim the €126,500 up top and a further €117,500 in bounties.

Late registration will be open until the beginning of Day 2, which kicks off on Thursday, February 22 at 12:30 p.m. Upon the start of Day 2, the Mystery Bounties will come into play. Of the total entry fee, €1,000 will be put into the bounty prize pool which will generate prizes that include, but are not limited to, €100,000, €50,000, €30,000, €15,000, €10,000, €5,000, €1,000, and €500.

Anyone who enters the Mystery Bounty will receive a starting stack of 30,000. The plan for Day 1 is to play 12 40-minute levels and while the registration period is open, players are allowed unlimited reentries.
