Blouet Flops Nut Straight

Ram Faravash raised to 700 from early position and Raphael Blouet three-bet to 2,400 from the small blind. Faravash called and action went to the flop.

The flop came Q♦10♣J♠. Blouet continued for 1,500 and Farajash moved all in for around 5,000, which Blouet called.

Faravash turned over K♠10♠ for a pair and straight draw, while Blouet flipped A♥K♥ for the flopped nut straight.

The turn came the 4♣ and river the 9♥. Blouet held and Faravash was eliminated from the tournament early.

"It's too good to be true," said Blouet as he scooped the pot.

Yunsheng Sun raised from under the gun, Bekim Murtezi called in middle position, and the player in the big blind also made the call.

The flop came J♥9♣5♠. Sun bet 1,100 and Murtezi called. The turn was the 5♦. Sun bet out again, this time for 3,300. Murtezi raised it up to 7,000, then Sun jammed all in. Murtezi quickly made the call.

Sun showed K♥K♣, but Murtezi had 7♥5♥ for trip fives, leaving Sun drawing thin. The river was a blank, the 3♣, and Murtezi won the hand to double up his stack.

Judy Whitlow limped in under the gun, as did Michael Hooper in middle position and Alin Grasu in the small blind. The big blind checked their option.

The action checked to Whitlow, who bet out 600 on the 6♦10♦5♣ flop. Only Hooper and Grasu called.

The 7♦ saw the action check to Whitlow once more. She bet out 2,000, Hooper called and Grasu check-raised to 10,000. Whitelow called and Hooper got out of the way.

The J♠ river saw Grasu moved all in for 21,400. Whitlow thought for some time before mucking A♣A♥ face up. Grasu claimed this pot, showing A♦J♦ for the nut flush as he did so.

Balogh Drags One on the River

Andras Balogh opened 700 in the cutoff, and both Frederic Delval and Vasileios Panagiotidis came along in the blinds.

All three players checked the 10♠8♥4♥ flop, and the J♣ fell on the turn. Delval check-folded to a bet of 1,100 from Panagiotidis, but Balogh made the call.

When the Q♣ fell on the river, Panagiotidis slowed down with a check, and Balogh fired 5,600. After thinking for about 30 seconds, Panagiotidis surrendered his cards.

Aragno Wins Small Pot With Aces

Egidio Aragno raised to 600 from under the gun and picked up a late position call, as well as a call from Elie Dib in the big blind.

The flop came K♠10♦6♣ and Aragno continued for 600. Dib raised it up to 1,900 and Aragno called.

Action then slowed down as both players opted to check it down on the 9♣ turn, then again on the J♦ river. Dib showed K♣3♣ for a pair of kings and Aragno flipped A♥A♣ for pocket aces to win a small pot.

Giovannone Puts State in the Tank

With the 7♦7♣8♠9♥ turn already on the table, Luca Giovannone checked to Adrian State who fired a bet of 5,500 into the pot of 6,100. Giovannone made the call.

The 9♣ landed on the river, and Giovannone took the lead dropping 7,000 across the line. State went into the tank, but eventually pitched his cards into the muck.

Giovannone did not oblige but told him he made a good fold.

The turn came the 8♥. Shevliakov bet 1,100 and Benoni called. The river was the 2♣ and both players checked to showdown. Shevliakov had K♣6♣ for king high, while Benoni had Q♣Q♥ for pocket queens to win the pot.

PokerNews caught the action as Mario Trattou, in early position, had a bet of 1,200 out in front of him. Rostyslav Sabishchenko, in middle position, raised to 3,500 and Trattou called.

The dealer spread the 7♠K♥6♥ flop and Trattou checked and then folded to a bet of 3,000 from Sabishchenko.
