Lonis Flops the Joint For a Massive Double

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Jesse Lonis
Jesse Lonis

With around 120,000 in the middle in a three-way pot, Jesse Lonis bet 45,000 from the button on a board of A993 and Tom Vogelsang raised to 190,000 in the small blind.

Alexander van der Swaluw folded in middle position, while Lonis called to see the 10 river. Vogelsang then moved all in.

Lonis instantly called for his last 519,000 and Vogelsang showed 33 for a full house. Lonis, though, had A9 for a flopped full house to win the pot and earn a massive double up to jump into contention for the chip lead.

"I knew I shouldn't have asked for a three. I should've kept quiet," Vogelsang said with a laugh after the hand.

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Dara O'Kearney moved all in for around 70,000 from the button and Johannes Verhagen called in the big blind.

Dara O'Kearney: A6
Johannes Verhagen: A10

O'Kearney was dominated and fell further behind on the 4810 flop as Verhagen made top pair. The rest of the board came J10 to give Verhagen trips and send the renowned poker author to the rail.

Franco Puts a Small Dent in Neilson's Big Stack

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Three-handed on a flop of 4810, Daniel Neilson bet 18,000 from middle position and Sonny Franco called in the hijack, as did big blind Aliaksandr Hirs.

The turn was the 9 as action checked to Franco who bet 59,000. Only Neilson called and both players checked down the A river.

Neilson turned over K10 for a pair of tens, but Franco had JJ to win the pot.

Vogelsang Takes Huge Pot Versus Hafner

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Lukas Hafner
Lukas Hafner

Around 200,000 was already in the pot on 9J9 and Lukas Hafner had put out a bet of 75,000 from the small blind versus his opponent in middle position, Tom Vogelsang. After some thought Vogelsang called.

On the 4 turn Hafner continued to fire, sliding out a bet of 165,000. Vogelsang again called.

On the 2 river Hafner, who covered Vogelsang, emptied the clip and moved all in. Hafner looked dismayed when Vogelsang made the snap-call and actually mucked his hand before it was turned over given it was an all-in situation.

Hafner had K8 for the king-high triple barrel bluff and his timing was unfortunate as Vogelsang had Q9 for the flopped trip nines.

Vogelsang scooped the monster pot and moves amongst the tournament chip leaders.

The river was the 5 and both players again checked, Assouline showing AK and Verhagen AK to chop the pot. Saout quickly mucked his cards and headed for the exit.

Darie tanked for several minutes until another player at the table called the clock. Darie then moved all in for 520,000 and Rubiralta quickly folded.

"Ace-king," Rubiralta asked him.

"I have a deuce," Darie replied as he dragged in the massive pot.

In a cooler Oberliessen's ace-king had come up against Petcu's aces and the 5Q669 runout did not provide him with an unlikely escape.
