Delfino Folds the Winner as Silva Takes Out Waki

Luca Delfino, Marco Silva, and Yasuhiro Waki went to the turn on a board of Q♦A♠5♣5♦ when Delfino bet 10,000 from the hijack. Silva then moved all in from the cutoff, Waki called all in for around 20,000 in the small blind, and Delfino folded.

Silva showed A♥3♥ for two pair, while Waki had J♦9♦ for a flush draw. Delfino shot out of his seat and began pacing around the table as the 8♥ river sealed Waki's elimination and sent the big pot over to Silva.

"I'm not worried about you. I was worried about him," Delfino told Silva as he sat back down, saying he folded ace-king.

On the 8♣3♠3♦ flop action was checked to Vallinas, who put out a bet of 2,000. Only Leila called.

The K♦ turn and K♥ river were checked by both players.

Vallinas turned over A♠Q♣ for ace-high, while Leila had 4♠4♣ for a pair of fours, which was good enough to send him the pot.

Thomas Harnes raised to 700 in the hijack before Wagner Ripper three-bet to 2,200 in the cutoff. Sandro Pitzanti then four-bet to 6,500 in the small blind and Harnes folded. Ripper moved all in for around 20,000 and Pitzanti snap-called.

Ripper had run into a massive cooler but picked up some outs on the A♠Q♠9♠ with a flush draw against Pitzanti's top set. The 8♦ turn was safe for Pitzanti, and he let out a big fist pump once the 3♥ completed the board to send Ripper, who finished in third place in this event last year, to the rail.

"She's a good dealer. Change," a tablemate said.

"No change," Pitzanti joked as he collected the big pot.

Ortolomo Takes Pot on Turn

Spyros Karathanos opened to 700 in the cutoff and was called by Fabrizio Ortolomo on the button and Antoine Labat in the big blind.

The K♠6♠2♥ flop was checked though by all three players.

On the 4♣ Labat led out with a bet of 1,000 and Karathanos called. Ortolomo reached for chips and produced a raise to 3,700, leading to swift folds from both of his opponents.

With around 15,000 in the pot on a flop of 9♣7♠5♣, Peter Jaksland moved all in for 9,500 from the hijack. Yanfeng Wang tanked for a minute before calling in the cutoff.

Jaksland was trailing Wang's two tens heading to the turn, which came the Q♣ to put him in the lead. The river was the Q♥ and he improved to trips to double up.

Bariach Doubles Through Miegel

Pardeep Bariach limped under the gun off his 7,400 stack. Francesco Di Profio raised to 1,000 in middle position, only to be faced with a three-bet to 2,500 by Jakob Miegel in the next seat.

Bariach moved all in for the rest of his stack, Di Profio folded and Miegel called to put Bariach at risk.

Bariach was in bad shape with a dominated queen, but matters looked better after the 10♥8♦7♠ flop gave him top pair.

Miegel couldn't swing it back on the 5♣9♦ turn and river and Bariach scooped the pot.

Heads-up on a board of 2♥4♣3♥8♣, Stanislav Tishkevich bet 3,000 from the cutoff and Romain Retiere called in the big blind.

The river was the 8♠ and Tishkevich fired out 17,000, sending Retiere deep into the tank.

"Ace-king? Ace-queen of hearts," Retiere asked Tishkevich, who remained silent. "Jacks no good," Retiere finally added before sending his cards into the muck.

"Show the bluff for the table," Retiere said, but Tishkevich returned his cards face down and took the pot.
