Welcome back to the PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Paris here at the grand Le Palais des Congrès. Day 1f of the €1,100 FPS Main Event will get underway at 6 p.m. local time and marks the sixth and final starting flight.
Yesterday, Alexandre Correia bagged the overall chip lead in Day 1c with 895,000. Matei Lupascu managed to secure 736,000 in Day 1d, which was good for the third spot overall through four starting flights.

So far, the €1,100 FPS Main Event has attracted a record-breaking 2,262 entries through four starting flights. Of those, 345 have already secured a Day 2 berth and made the money. At the time of publishing, Day 1e (which began at 11 a.m. today) has drawn an additional 1,099 entries — swelling the ever-growing prize pool to over €3.3 million.
Day 1f will feature a turbo format with 20-minute levels. Players will begin with the usual 30,000 in chips and blinds will begin at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante. First-time entrants into the main event are allowed one re-entry, but anyone who has already joined a previous flight can only enter once.
Late registration will remain open until the start of Level 11. As with previous flights, play will continue until 15 percent of the field remains, at which point all remaining players will have made it into Day 2 and the money. The payouts will be determined after late registration closes.

Tijmen Bronkhorst opened to 300 from under the gun and directly behind him, Eric Vuissoz three-bet to 1,100. Rabia Zoubir called cold from the small blind and Bronkhorst folded.
Zoubir check-called a 1,000 bet from Vuissoz on the 2♣10♠7♦ flop and then both players checked on the 4♠ turn and 9♣ river.
Zoubir turned over A♥K♦, which was best against Vuissoz's AxQx.

Ricardo De Souza opened from the button to 300 on a short-handed table at the beginning of Level 1. Liviu Paval defended in the big blind.
Both players checked the Q♠3♦6♣ flop before the dealer flipped the 5♦ turn. Paval led for 500 and Souza called. The A♥ turn was checked by both players and Paval tabled 10♣6♦ for a pair of sixes. Souza mucked and Paval took the pot.

Alexander Ivarsson opened to 300 from the button and was called by Riccardo Giacalone in the small blind and Chris Dowling in the big blind.
On the 4♣A♠J♣ flop, the blinds checked to Ivarsson, who continued with a bet of 300. Only Dowling called.
The J♦ turn was checked through by both players.
The J♠ rolled off on the river and Dowling checked to Ivarsson. He reached for chips and put out a bet of 1,200, only to be faced with a check-raise by Dowling to 5,200. Ivarsson made the quick fold.

Action was picked up on the flop of 2♥7♥K♣ where Nadim Hage-Ali checked in the small blind as did Sofiane Drissi in the big blind.
Viktor Jensen checked from early position as did Xavier James on the button. Both blinds checked again on the Q♥ turn before Jensen bet for 800. James called on the button and Hage-Ali and Drissi folded.
Jensen led on the 4♦ river for 3,000 prompting a quick fold from James, leaving Jensen with the pot.
Emmanouil Zografakis opened to 300 from early position and was three-bet to 1,500 by Jari Mahonen in the hijack. Robert Dascalescu called cold from the big blind and Zografakis called as well.
Dascalescu led out for 1,000 on the Q♦4♦9♥ flop and only Zografakis called.
Both players checked on the A♦ turn and Dascalescu bet 1,500 after the 2♥ completed the board. Zografakis laid his hand down and Dascalescu added to his stack.
