PokerStars Ambassador Simon Wiciak opened under the gun and was faced with a three-bet to 16,000 by Samuel Fournier in middle position. Wiciak called.
On the 8♥3♣2♦ flop Wiciak check-called a bet of 11,000 from Wiciak.
The turn brought the 4♣ and Wiciak checked again, folding pretty quickly when Fournier fired out another bet of 30,000.
David Hu opened to 6,000 from middle position and action folded to Ryan Plant in the small blind, who shoved for approximately 25,000. Hu quickly called to put Plant at risk.

Plant found himself dominated, and the 10♥J♠Q♦8♣6♦ runout left him out-kicked and eliminated.
Ivan Abramchuk opened to 6,000 first to act and was called by Valentino Konakchiev.
Yaron Swerdlow was next to act and produced a three-bet all-in jam of around 72,000, leading to swift folds from his opponents.
Konakchiev enquired if he had ace-king and Swerdlow flashed the A♦ and said "you have to pay for the other one."
Robert Schulz opened to 5,000 from middle position and Kasper Mellanen reraised to 22,000, leaving a 500 chip behind.
Action folded back around to Schulz who asked for Mellanen's last chip.

The A♦ in the window gave Mellanen hopes of survival but they were quickly quashed by the J♠ and 4♣. Schulz's set held through the K♠ turn and 4♠ river and Mellanen was sent to the rail.

Milad Sheva opened under the gun and was called by Timothy Friese from early position. Action folded around to Xiaqing Ji in the small blind who completed.
There was roughly 10,000 in the pot when the 5♣4♦5♥ was checked around. Ji checked the J♥ turn and Sheva bet 7,500. Friese folded before Ji check-raised all in for around 55,000. Sheva was deep in the tank. Eventually the floor was called where he used all 30 seconds before folding his hand.
Salvatore Camarda shoved for his last 30,000 from the hijack and just behind him, Hakan Kuscu also shoved for more. Everyone else folded and a showdown was held.

Camarda was in dire need of help, but the K♣Q♣5♠7♠A♣ runout kept Kuscu best with a set of aces and Camarda was eliminated.
Around 17,500 was in the middle and Thomas Meignan had put out a bet of 7,500 on J♠J♦8♥.
Ortega Galiana pondered his decision, before producing a check-raise to 19,000.
Meignan thought the spot through, and mucked his hand.
Preben Stokkan moved all in from early position for around 21,000 and Christophe Fougle re-jammed, forcing folds from the rest of the table, with Stokkan at risk.
