2024 PokerStars EPT Paris
Upon completion of level three, the field has reached more than 730 entries and some 680 players remain. They have been sent on an extended 25-minute break as a stampede currently finds a way out of the main tournament.
With some 23,000 in the middle to the 10♠9♣4♠3♣ turn, Nabil Nedjai pushed all-in out of the small blind. Tymofii Savkin in the cutoff had around 14,000 behind and called.
Tymofii Savkin: Q♥Q♦
Nabil Nedjai: A♠A♣
The river was the insignificant 7♦ and Savkin was eliminated.
"Well played, I folded pocket nines," Enis Rouissi remarked in French as they headed into the first break.
On the tail end of a A♣10♦7♦6♠4♠ board, Tamerlan Kaisinov bet 6,500. Halim Guerrout called after a few seconds and was shown the K♦5♦ for a busted flush draw by Kaisinov. Guerrout had that beat with the A♥8♥ for the top pair to boost the own stack.
The third starting flight has already become the largest by a long mile as the Day 1c field surpassed 700 entries. Some 40 players have been eliminated, some of which opted to re-enter and the overflow has now spilled into the secondary tournament area.
Theo Drach open raised, Guillaume Cochin three-bet to 2,500, then Drach four-bet to 5,600. Cochin called and action went to the flop.
The flop came 7♥2♣K♦. Drach continued for 2,600 and Cochin called. The turn was the 4♣. Drach sized up to 6,200 and Cochin called again.
The river came the 6♥ and Drach moved all in for his last 13,000. Cochin called with a similar amount. Drach had A♦K♥ for a pair of kings. Cochin, however, flipped over A♥A♣ for pocket aces, an overpair to the board.
Cochin doubled up his stack and Drach with left with just 1,000 chips. He has since been eliminated.
Antoine Lecamus raised to 800 from middle position, Stephane Abehassera called in the small blind, and Antoine Pencreach called in the big blind.
The flop came J♠A♦2♠ and all three players checked. The turn was the 3♣. Pencreach checked, Abehassera bet 2,200, and only Pencreach made the call.
The river was the 5♦ and both players checked to showdown. Pencreach flipped 10♦10♣ for a pair to claim the pot as Abehassera mucked.
With 6,500 in the middle to the 9♠7♣3♥ flop, Jose De Andrade checked and Miroslav Forman bet 5,200 on the button. De Andrade then check-raised to 12,200 with about as much behind.
Only a few seconds later, Forman announced all-in and De Andrade was seemingly shell-shock. Half a minute passed and the local player opted to fold.

Jan Kesänen check-called a bet worth 13,000 on the A♠9♦5♥2♥ turn by Michael Kalfon and checked the 2♣ on the river. Kalfon pushed all-in and Kesänen beat him into the pot for the Frenchman to sheepishly flip over the K♣Q♠ for air.
Kesänen won the pot with the 9♠9♥ for nines full of deuces and has become one of the early chip leaders.
