PokerStars has unveiled the full schedule for the 2024 European Poker Tour (EPT) season, which shows five destinations, including a return to EPT Paris and EPT Cyprus. Both Paris and Cyprus made their EPT debut in 2023, and they return for 2024, much to the delight of the players.
EPT Paris is the first stop of the 2024 European Poker Tour season. It takes place between February 14-25 at a new venue. The stunning Le Palais des Congres has a 120-table capacity, leading to a more extensive schedule for the festival. Cedric Billot, Associate Director for Live Events and Operations, believes the new-look EPT Paris could be one of the largest EPT festivals on record.
Players are now heading for a 20-minute break. Late registration for the flight will be over once play resumes, at which point the entry numbers can be confirmed.

Abhinav Iyer moved all in from early position with a short stack. Parker Talbot was on the same table and commented on how his fellow player had already made a comeback from less than one big blind.
Ashley Crepiat was the only player to call Iyer's shove and had him well covered as players turned their cards.
Abhinav Iyer: J♥J♣
Ashley Crepiat: A♦10♦
It looked like Iyer was about to well and truly make it back into the game, but the board ran out 3♦5♣A♠8♥2♦ to give Crepiat a pair of aces. He won the pot and Iyer, despite a valiant comeback effort, was eliminated from the tournament.

The K♦5♦4♠ flop improved the Belgian to the superior pair and he remained ahead with the 10♦ turn.
However, the 9♣ river gave Coman a set of nines to spell the end for Bernard.

Tiago Aguiarramos opened 2,400 under the gun, and Bhavin Khatri moved all-in for 3,600 on the button. Otmane El Fquir was in the big blind and questioned if the door was going to be open for Aguiarramos before making the call. It was indeed open, but Aguiarramos didn't put in another raise as he tossed in a call as well.
The 9♣3♦2♣ flop was checked through to the Q♠ turn, where El Fquir quickly check-folded to a bet of 2,500 from Aguiarramos, forcing both remaining hands to be turned on their backs.
Bhavin Khatri: A♥J♥
Tiago Aguiarramos: Q♦J♦
Khatri couldn't pull ahead as the K♠ completed the board, eliminating him from the tournament.
