Laidlaw Gets Three Streets
Nível 14
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Thomas Santerne raised to 6,000 from the hijack and Dan Laidlaw defended in the big blind.
Laidlaw checked at the sight of the 2♥3♣K♦ flop. Santerne continued for 4,500 and Laidlaw check-raised to 15,000. Santerne called.
The Q♠ turn saw Laidlaw size up to 22,000. Santerne called again.
The river landed the 8♥ and Laidlaw placed a bet of 65,000, leaving himself just 1,000 behind the line. Santerne remained in the tank for some time before finally making the call. Laidlaw tabled K♣Q♥ for two pair; good enough to win this pot.
