Satubayev Busts Shylko on Bubble
Aliaksandr Shylko was under the gun with only 3,000 left, and he flicked his chips in before the cards were dealt so that he would be eligible to win the big blind ante, rather than waiting to be forced all-in in the big blind and being unable to pay the ante.
Action folded to Daniel Rezaei, who had been making hay on the bubble, and he raised to 35,000. Shyngis Satubayev was in the big blind and he queried with the floor what would happen if he busted in the same hand as Shylko. He was informed that as they were at the same table, the player with the higher starting stack would take the higher place finish. On hearing this, Satubayev called.

Aliaksandr Shylko showed 2♣4♠ for a pair of deuces, Rezaei had 10♣4♣ for a pair of tens, but Satubayev had 10♦9♦ for a pair of tens with the better kicker, sending him the pot, and sending the unfortunate Shylko to the rail empty handed.
All remaining players are now guaranteed a minimum payout of €51,000.
