Vaka Dispatches Quetelart in the Opening Level

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

With around 7,000 chips in the pot on a board that read 3629, Monica Vaka had checked it over to Adrien Quetelart, who then made a bet of 6,000. Vaka put in the check-raise to 15,000, which left Quetelart with a decision for his remaining stack of just over 8,000. After a while in the tank, Quetelart elected to put himself at risk, and called.

Adrien Quetelart: QQ All in
Monica Vaka: 99

It was a great turn card for Vaka as she improved to a set, which left Quetelart with just two outs to survive. The J river was close, but not close enough for Quetelart as he became one of the first casualties of the day.

Afriat Takes Three-Bet Pot

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Action folded to Marco Poccia on the button, who opened to 300, receiving a call from Yiannis Liperis in the small blind. Eric Afriat was in the big blind, and he reached for chips before producing a three-bet to 1,500. Both of his opponents came along for the ride.

On the 1054 flop, Afriat continued with a bet of 2,500 when action was checked to him. Poccia called and Liperis folded.

The 8 rolled off on the turn, and both players checked their option.

Almeida’s Ace Takes Down Kilennikov

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Gonzalo Almeida kicked off the action from the hijack with a raise to 300, and Alexandr Kilennikov in the cutoff and both of the blinds called.

The 7AQ flop saw checks from the blinds, leaving Almeida to fire a bet of 400. Kilennikov made the call, Ignas Jasinevicius folded his small blind, but Ivan Bryksin in the big blind stuck around with a call as well.

Bryksin checked the K turn, and Almeida followed suit. Kilennikov, however, took the opportunity to bet 600, with Almeida being the only caller.

When the Q landed on the river, both players checked. Almeida revealed AJ for two pair, and with Kilennikov mucking his hand, Almeida scooped the pot.
