With around 15,000 chips in the pot on a board of Q♥7♠8♥, Aurelijus Sipavicius had fired a bet of 6,000, and Wael Sarkis raised to 13,000. Sipavicius then took his time before he put in a flop three-bet to 25,000, then Sarkis shoved for almost 40,000. Sipavicious only had around 10,000 behind, and didn't immediately call
"Come on, you only have that back and you are tanking," remarked Sarkis . Eventually Sipavicius did call off the remainder of his stack, which left him at risk.
Aurelijus Sipavicius: K♠K♣
Wael Sarkis: A♥7♥
Sarkis had a pair plus the nut flush draw and needed to crack the pocket kings of Sipavicius with two cards to come. Fortunately for Sarkis , he only needed one card as the 4♥ turn gave him an unbeatable flush, which left Sipavicius drawing dead. The 4♦ river was just a formality, and Sarkis scooped in the pot as Sipavicius vacated his seat.

Action was on the turn on a board of 5♦10♠6♠K♣ and Yunkyu Song checked. Fouad Toujani moved all in, which prompted Song to stand up and put his jacket on, surely a mistake in the blistering heat of the room as the air conditioning had only just kicked in.
Song made the call for 28,200. Toujani flipped over A♥Q♥ for a bluff with ace-high and Song had K♠Q♠ for a pair of kings.
"50-50," said Song.
The river came the 8♥ and Song held to win the pot and double up his stack, taking most of Toujani's stack in the process.

Arian Hassankashani opened to 700 from early position, and received a call from Omar Del Pino in the small blind, before David Karsenty produced a three-bet to 3,600 from the big blind. Hassankashani folded, but Del Pino called.
On the K♥6♥5♥ flop, Del Pino check-called versus a bet of 1,600 from Karsenty.
The 5♠ hit on the turn, and Del Pino again check-called versus a bet of 5,000 from his opponent.
The Q♥ river completed the board, bringing one card flush possibilities, and Del Pino changed approach, leading out with a bet of 4,500.
After quite a bit of thought, Karsenty jammed for 14,500, and Del Pino's cards were swiftly sent to the dealer.

The pot had grown to about 5,500, with the board displaying 3♥Q♦2♣A♦Q♣. Oleg Eltsov, in early position, checked, giving Tobias Eichenseher the opening he was looking for. Seizing the moment, Eichenseher placed a bet of 4,000, which Eltsov decided to call.
When it was time to reveal their cards, Eichenseher showed Q♠8♠, displaying trips with his queens. With that, he scooped up the pot, adding a nice chunk to his stack.

Following an open raise, Sergei Varnaev three-bet to 3,000 from the button and Riccardo Saraniero moved all in from the big blind for 13,400. The original raiser folded and Varnaev made the call to put Saraniero at risk.
Riccardo Saraniero: K♦Q♥
Sergei Varnaev: 7♣7♥
The flop came J♥A♥7♠ to give Varnaev a set of sevens and it looked like he was set to bust his opponent. The turn was the 4♣ and the river was the 10♦, which completed Saraniero's straight to give him the double up.

Ali Zebarjad opened under the gun to 600, and received two callers, before Bernhard Binder produced a three-bet to 2,500 from the big blind.
Zebarjad thought it through for a moment, before producing the four-bet jam to 35,000 with the covering stack. It folded back to Binder who sighed, counted out his remaining chips, and after only about a minute of thought, open-folded J♥J♣.
Zebarjad intimated it was a good fold, but did not show his cards.

Kenny Hallaert took his seat at the start of Level 3, but has lost a significant chunk of his stack after a pot with Nicolas Chouity.
The action was missed but on a full board of 10♥5♦10♠6♣K♠, there were around 25,000 chips in the middle when Hallaert checked, and Chouity shoved for 17,500. Hallaert had 18,500 remaining in his stack, and after some time in the tank, he elected to fold.

Around 1,900 was in the middle on a flop of A♥Q♠7♥, in a hand between Ivan Bryksin in early position and Brandon Sheils on the button.
Bryksin fired out a bet of 1,200, and Sheils pumped it up to 4,500. After some thought, Bryksin called.
The 4♥ turn and 9♦ turn were checked through.
Bryksin sighed and turned over K♥3♥ for the turned nut flush, commenting "Ahh a professional, no bet."

Zoran Marich made it 600 to go from early position and Nicolas Betbese called from the next seat. Alexander Ivanov then three-bet the hijack to 2,700, and Toni Kaukua cold four-bet on the button to 5,400. Marich folded with around 5,000 behind, Betbese got out of the way, and Ivanov shoved for around 12,000 total. Kaukua called.
Alexander Ivanov: Q♠Q♣
Toni Kaukua: A♦K♥
It was an all-too-familiar coinflip and Ivanov was already standing up, either in preparation to leave or his usual ritual, but kept his advantage after the J♦3♠4♦ flop. However, Kaukua found a great card with the 2♦ turn as he picked up a plethora of outs in both straight and flush draws to go along with his overcards. One of those outs appeared on the river as the K♣ gave Kaukua a pair, sending Ivanov to the rail early on.
