Nível 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ramon Colillas
Ramon Colillas

Ramon Colillas opened to 40,000 from middle position and was called by Sebastian Schulze and Andraz Gognjavec from the cutoff and small blind. Vlado Banicevic three-bet 125,000 from the big blind to put the action back on Colillas. The PokerStars ambassador jammed for around 790,000 and quickly folded out Schulze and Gignjavec. Banicevic went into the tank and ended up conceding the pot.

Meli Takes One from Four Players

Nível 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Ramon Colillas opened to 40,000 from the hijack, and he was called by all four players behind him.

The dealer fanned a flop of 53K, and the blinds and Colillas checked. Vincent Meli then bet 65,000 from the cutoff. Sebastian Schulze called from the button, as well as Andraz Gognjavec in the big blind, while Colillas folded.

The K came on the turn, but everybody checked to find the 2 on the river. Gognjavec checked once more, then Meli announced 225,000. His two last opponents quickly folded, so he scooped the pot.

Kyte Kicks Out Retiere

Nível 22 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Romain Retiere
Romain Retiere

Jon Kyte made a raise to 45,000 from under the gun before Romain Retiere jammed 235,000 chips in from the hijack for an all-in bet.

The action folded back to Kyte, who asked how much it was. When Retiere answered that it was around 11 big blinds, Kyte responded: "If it's 11 big blinds I am not going to nit-roll you."

He indeed made the call after the count was confirmed, and the cards went on their backs.

Romain Retiere: AK
Jon Kyte: 88

"Oh, some outs," Retiere uttered when 104J was flopped. However, neither the 6 turn or 4 river brought one of them, and Kyte's pair of eights won the flip to eliminate the Frenchman in 40th place.

The following hand, Lupuleac opened to 35,000 from the button and Steve O'Dwyer defended his big blind.

On the J42 flop, O'Dwyer check-raised to 90,000 over a bet of 30,000. Lupuleac three-bet to 200,000 and O'Dwyer called.

The 10 turn checked through to the 2 river. O'Dwyer led out for 150,000 and after using a time bank, Lupuleac called.

Meli Shoves on "One"

Nível 21 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Vincent Meli
Vincent Meli

In what appeared to be a three-way, three-bet pot, 310,000 chips lay in the middle of the table, together with a flop of 1084. Vlado Banicevic then checked from the small blind and "John One" fired in 75,000 chips from the big blind.

Vincent Meli was next to act in middle position, and he spent some time before putting in a raise to 250,000. Banicevic quickly got out of the way, but "One" stuck around with a call.

Meli then continued with his aggression on the 9 turn, making a bet of 175,000 after "One" had checked. "One" put in the same amount shortly thereafter, and the 3 river completed the board.

After another check from "One", Meli spent some time bank extensions before moving his 400,000 stack to the middle. This time, it was "One" who spent several time bank cards.

Eventually, he slid his cards towards the muck, awarding the pot to Meli without showdown.
