In the same tournament area, another heads-up pot unfolded in which Jeremy Saderne had defended the big blind against Dawid Smolka from under the gun. They got to the river and Saderne checked. Smolka bet 28,000 to send his table neighbour deep into the tank and the clock was called on Saderne.
