Ogita Eliminated by Chalot

Nível 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Benjamin Chalot
Benjamin Chalot

A three-bet was out in front of Daisuke Ogita as a T-5,000 chip had been placed before Benjamin Chalot then pushed forward his stack and announced all-in. Ogita called with the inferior stack and the cards were revealed.

Daisuke Ogita: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Benjamin Chalot: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop confirmed the lead by Chalot with the top pair and top kicker. Ogita had a straight draw and running clubs at his disposal but missed both of those options on the {4-Diamonds} turn and {3-Diamonds} river runout.

Alt Chips Up in Battle of the Blinds

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

The small blind raised it up to 1,200 and Dinesh Alt defended the big blind. Both players checked the {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop and Alt called a bet worth 2,500 on the {9-Diamonds} turn. Both checked again the {2-Clubs} on the river and Alt won the pot with the {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}.

The opponent of the Swiss was soon after replaced by Gaelle Baumann as the late additions to the field kept on coming.

Ripper Takes It From Ricci With River Bet

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Andrea Ricci
Andrea Ricci

Andrea Ricci made an under the gun raise to 1,200, the small blind called and Walter Ripper called in the big blind.

The flop came {7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{a-Spades}. Action checked to Ricci, who made it 1,000 to go. Ripper called.

The turn came the {a-Clubs}. Ripper checked and Ricci bet 1,500. Ripper reraised to 4,500 and got the call.

The river was the {2-Spades} and Ripper led for a large bet of 15,000. Ricci looked as pensive as someone can look whilst wearing a hoody and shades, and eventually folded. Ripper picked up the pot.

Veldhuis Gets Value From Lellouche

Nível 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Lex Veldhuis
Lex Veldhuis

Three ways to the {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop, Lex Veldhuis checked in the small blind and Marc Lellouche bet 3,400. Martin Jacobson folded and Veldhuis called. Both checked the {6-Hearts} on the turn and the {2-Clubs} fell on the river.

As Veldhuis was preparing a bet, Lellouche already had a single chip in his hand ready to snap-call. The bet worth 8,000 by Veldhuis followed and Lellouche paid it off to get shown the {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the nut flush by the PokerStars ambassador, as he exposed the {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}.

"Guess I am glad that no heart came on the river," Lellouche admitted.

Rivered Flush Cracks Trip Tens

Nível 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Marc-Benjamin Tusch raised from middle position and got called by Marian-Catalin Cantea in the big blind. The flop came {7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Tusch made a continuation bet of 1,600 and Cantea called in the big blind. The turn came the {10-Spades} and both players checked.

On the {3-Spades}, Tusch checked, Cantea bet 6,000 and Tusch called. Cantea had the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for trip tens, but Tusch showed {a-Spades}{5-Spades} for a rivered flush.

Ahuja Rivers a Pair to Win

Nível 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Four ways to the {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, no betting action took place as the {a-Clubs} then appeared on the turn. Ankit Ahuja bet 3,500 out of the small blind and David Vinayagamoorthy in the cutoff was the only caller.

The {5-Hearts} river was checked and Ahuja won the pot with {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a missed flush draw and rivered pair.

Vinayagamoorthy cracked a smile as he sent the cards into the muck. "Did you have jack nine of clubs?" Ahuja inquired and his opponent replied "something like that".

Fitoussi Loses One Then Wins One Back

Nível 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Bruno Fitoussi
Bruno Fitoussi

Bruno Fitoussi was involved in two pots back to back. In the first hand, Fitoussi raised from early position and got called by Fahredin Mustafov in the small blind. The big blind also came along.

All three players checked on a flop of {2-Spades}{q-Clubs}{k-Spades}. The turn came the {8-Diamonds}. Mustafov checked and Fitoussi fired for 5,000, which Mustafov called. On the {5-Diamonds} river, Mustafov once again checked and Fituossi fired again for 12,000. Mustafov called. Fitoussi showed {a-}{j-} and Mustafov showed {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for top pair to catch Fitoussi's bluff.

On the next hand, Fitoussi made another early position raise and this time got called by Julien Mariani in the big blind. Fitoussi continued on a flop of {7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and Mariani called. On the {9-Clubs} turn, Fitoussi bet out for 2,500 and got a fold out of Mariani, earning back some of the chips he lost in the previous hand.

Five-Way Pot for Amar

Nível 4 : Blinds 200/500, 500 ante

Five ways to the {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, Arthur Amar bet 3,500 and received no fewer than four callers. There was no action beyond that as they all checked down the {3-Clubs} turn and {3-Hearts} river. Amar won the pot with the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} while Christophe Francois exposed his {a-Spades}{7-Clubs} as well.

Gregory Fournier mentioned that he should have gone all-in but chickened out. Both Fournier and Amar are the current chip leaders at the table with almost two times the starting stack.
