Mateos Doubles Up

Nível 21 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Alex Kulev raised to 230,000 from the cutoff with A♠8♥ and Adrian Mateos called in the big blind with J♠7♠.

The flop came 7♦Q♣Q♦. Mateos jammed for 90,000 and Kulev called.

The turn came K♣ and the river fell the 3♦. Mateos held up with his pair of sevens and he doubled up.

Still, the reigning champion has just seven big blinds and will need to spin it up more to climb to the top spots.
