The action was picked up when all the chips went in the middle preflop between Ewen Trevidy on the button and Inigo Naveiro in the small blind who had the bigger stack.

Trevidy was slightly ahead preflop but when the board ran out K♥10♠5♠2♣10♣, it was the pair of kings that scored the pot for Naveiro to send Trevidy to the exit in 27th place.
Benjamin Spragg open-jammed a stack of around 650,000 from middle position and Adel Rahou called from the next seat with a bigger stack.

"Great spot," commented table mate Jason Wheeler before the board ran out a clean 8♦J♣J♠4♦2♦ to earn "Spraggy" the double.
The action folded to Quentin Laugt on the button who opened for 120,000 and only Umberto Zaffagnini came along from the big blind.
The flop fanned out A♠8♠3♦ and Zaffagnini checked to Laugt who continued for 100,000. Zaffagnini elected on a check-raise to 270,000 and without much thought, Laugt let his cards go.
Aram Sargsyan moved all in from under the gun for 495,000 and Braz Borges shoved over the top from the hijack for 1,075,000. It folded to Maksym Mamon on the button who moved all in as well for close to 1,200,000. The blinds quickly got out of the way and the hands were tabled.

Mamon was well ahead with his kings and would only need to dodge an ace. The flop came 7♣3♥2♣ which was safe for the cowboys, until the turn fell the A♥ and flipped the odds on the hand. The river, however, brought the K♠ and both Sargsyan and Borges were stunned as the trip kings for Mamon scored the pot to send both his opponents to the rail.
Samuel Ju was all in and at risk for 650,000 from the small blind against Otto Lemke, in the big blind, who had him barely covered with a stack of 655,000.

Lemke couldn't crack Ju's aces as the board ran out 10♣7♠K♦3♦8♣ to leave him with a single chip. He was forced all in from the small blind the next hand as Quentin Laugt opened from the cutoff and Ju called on the button.
The flop of 4♠10♥K♥ checked through and Laugt bet 250,000 on the 7♠ turn to get a fold from Ju. "I have eight-high, you have a chance!" Laugt told Lemke.

Quentin Laugt: 8♥6♥
Lemke was in decent shape to stay alive with a pair of fours, but the river then brought the 6♦ to improve Laugt to a pair of sixes and for Lemke to be eliminated.
Matthias Roth open-jammed a stack of around 350,000 from middle position and was called by Alfonso Simone in late position, who had him covered.

Things looked good for Roth as the flop landed Q♥3♣8♣ to keep his jacks ahead, but the A♥ on the turn brought him out of his seat before the K♣ peeled off on the river to mark his elimination.
