No Smooth Sailing for Kyte

Jon Kyte started today with a healthy stack, but it had dwindled down to about 60,000 chips. He was sitting in the small blind and in an effort to increase that number, flat-called an open from button Ionut Decher. Big blind Milen Stefanov also came along and the trio were off to the flop.
The 8♥8♦10♦ checked around, as did the 3♥ turn. On the 10♠ river, Kyte bet 40,000, leaving himself a single T-1,000 chip behind. Stefanov quickly got out of the way and, after some deliberation, so did Decher. He showed the K♦ out of courtesy, enkindling a smile from Kyte.
