Atallah then moved all in for around 4,000,000 and Teodorescu snap-called with 8♦5♠ for a turned straight. Atallah had 7♠7♣ for a set and needed the board to pair on the river to stay alive, but he saw the J♠ fall that ended his tournament in eighth place.

The next hand, Treccarichi limped in and Michel Atallah checked his option. Action checked to the turn on a board of K♠7♠10♥6♠ when Treccarichi led out for 200,000.

Atallah then raised to 400,000 and Treccarichi called. The river came the A♣ and Atallah moved all in. Treccarichi, with around 2,000,000 remaining, quickly folded.

Ahuja raised to 250,000 in the cutoff before Andrei Teodorescu three-bet to 860,000 in the small blind. Ahuja called and the flop came K♣J♦K♠.

Teodorescu checked and Ahuja bet 300,000. Teodorescu called to the 7♠ turn and checked again.

Ahuja then fired out 575,000 and Teodorescu moved all in for 3,885,000. Ahuja snap-called with K♥Q♥ for trips, but Teodorescu had him out-kicked with A♣K♦.

The river came the 10♣ and Teodorescu earned the massive double up.

In a blind versus blind situation, Ankit Ahuja bet 400,000 on the flop of 10♠J♥K♠. He was called by Andrei Vavilonskii in the big blind, who called another bet of 1,200,000 on the turn 6♣.

The river was the Q♣ and Ahuja fired a third barrel of 2,000,000. Vavilonski called quickly.

"A set," said Ahuja while showing 10♦10♣, but Vavilonski had a straight with J♣9♦ and won the pot to take the chip lead.
