Tens For Kennedy

Nível 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

From the cutoff, Anthony Kennedy bet 2,500, and was called by both players in the blinds.

All three of them checked on 3A3 flop, but on the turn 2, Samy Boujmala in the small blind bet 6,000. Seated on his left, Ovidiu Lung folded, but Kennedy made the call.

When the Q came on the river, Boujmala quickly checked and Kennedy checked back, revealing 1010. Boujmala mucked his cards.

Beresford, Kolev Find Doubles

Nível 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Conor Beresford moved all in for 15,500 from the cutoff and Andrey Litvinov called in the big blind.

Conor Beresford: A7
Andrey Litvinov: A9

Both players hit their ace on the 56A flop but Litvinov remained in front with his nine-kicker. The K turn left Beresford one card from elimination, but he found the 7 to make two pair and double up.

At the same time at another table, Boris Kolev was all in for 16,000 in the cutoff and up against Ilija Savevski in middle position.

Boris Kolev: KK
Ilija Savevski: AQ

The 3Q3 flop gave Kolev a sweat as Savevski hit his queen, but Savevski improved no further on the 2 turn or 4 river and Kolev stayed around.

Ghazarian, Kropmanns Get Into a Flop Raising War

Nível 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Harout Ghazarian and Ramon Kropmanns were heads-up on a flop of 3J9 when Ghazarian bet 2,500 from under the gun.

Kropmanns then raised to 7,500 in middle position and Ghazarian came back with a reraise to 15,000. Kropmanns attempted to raise again but didn't put in enough as the dealer forced him to make it 22,500.

Ghazarian just called to see the 7 turn, where Kropmanns bet another 6,500. Ghazarian quickly called and the A fell on the river.

Both players checked and Ghazarian turned over 33 for a flopped set to win the pot.

Cecile Ticherfatine and Andrea Dato are also at this table.

Players Off on Break

Nível 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Level 8 has ended and players are on another 20-minute break.

There are still two more levels of late registration, with the tournament clock currently showing 936 entries so far on Day 1c.

Niste Heads to Break With a Double

Nível 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Although the rest of the room had already emptied out on break, the players at Mihai Niste's table were still standing around as he and Michael Kilian were involved in a pot on the turn.

Kilian had bet 8,000 on a board of KJ62 before Niste had moved all in for 42,100 in the hijack. Kilian, in the small blind, tanked for several minutes into the break before calling.

Niste then turned over 66 and Kilian went to muck his hand even with a card still to come. The dealer exposed his AJ as Kilian was already drawing dead before the inconsequential 8 fell on the river.
