Gadzhiev Is Bluffing; Aygun Isn't

Heads-up on a flop of 6♥3♦8♦, Andrei Vavilonskii bet 200,000 from under the gun and Roman Gadzhiev called in the big blind.

Both players checked the K♣ turn before Gadzhiev led out for 400,000 on the K♠ river. Vavilonskii tanked for about a minute before calling.

"Why can't you fold," Gadzhiev said with a laugh as he showed Q♦9♥ for a bluff. Vavilonskii turned over 7♦6♦ to win the pot.

A few hands later, Aksel Aygun raised to 225,000 in the hijack and Eduard Norel defended his big blind.

Both players checked the 2♦6♠J♠ flop before Norel led out for 450,000 on the J♥ turn. Aygun called to see the A♠ river.

Norel then checked and Aygun slid forward a bet of 705,000. Norel tanked for a few minutes before calling as Aygun turned over J♦J♣ for quads.

"If you bet the flop we get it in," Norel told him before mucking.
