Fabrice Maltez raised to 3,500 from under the gun and Tom Orpaz called from late position before Henri Kasper came along from the cutoff. The big blind tossed in the chips to call and action was four ways.

The flop was 2♣5♦4♥ and the big blind checked. Maltez continued for 6,000 and Orpaz called before Kasper joined him. The big blind folded and the turn was 3♠.

Maltez checked the turn and Orpaz tossed out 15,000. Kasper spent a moment in the tank and folded before Maltez shook his head and gave up the pot.

Meanwhile, Alejandro Lococo and Dennys Ramos have taken their seats. There are currently 32 players in the tournament.

Kropmanns Looking for His Spot

Francisco Benitez raised to 10,000 from the button before Ramon Kropmanns made it 52,500 from the small blind while leaving just 2,000 behind. The big blind got out of the way and Benitez gave it some thought before he gave the pot to Kropmanns.

On the next hand, Quan Zhou raised to 2,500 under the gun before action folded around to Kropmanns for a raise to 10,000 from the button. Zhou went into the tank and counted out his chips before he submitted a raise to 27,500. That was too much for Kropmanns and he tossed in the muck in hopes of a better spot later.

In the mean time, Erik Seidel has taken his seat.

Orpaz Takes Another One; Field Grows

Just before blinds increased, action was heads up with 26,000 and a flop of 8♣8♠J♥ on the board when Tom Orpaz checked from the small blind and Ramon Kropmanns bet 6,000 from the big blind. Orpaz called and the turn was 9♥.

Both players checked the turn and the river was 8♦. Orpaz took a beat before he bet 20,000, but it was too much for Kropmanns so he gave up the pot.

Meanwhile, the field continues to grow in the early levels and there are currently 26 runners in the tournament, including PokerStars Ambassador Sam Grafton.
