A pot of around 30,000 was already in the middle as Eros Calderone, Paul Newey, and Quan Zhou went to a flop of 7♣2♠10♠.
Calderone, under the gun, bet 7,000 and Zhou called in the small blind, as did Newey in the big blind.
The turn came the K♥ and Calderone fired out another 16,000. Only Zhou called this time before both players slowed down and checked on the 4♣ river.
Zhou turned over J♠9♠ for missed flush and straight draws, while Calderone had A♥8♣ to win the pot with ace-high.

Nacho Barbero and Tom Orpaz were heads-up on the turn with around 70,000 in the middle and the board showing 2♣9♦J♠K♦. Both players checked to the 4♦ river.
Orpaz checked again in the cutoff before Barbero, on the button, bet 18,000, leaving 50,000 behind. Orpaz then shoved forward a tower of chips and Barbero tossed in his remaining stack.
Orpaz turned over 2♠2♥ for the flopped set and Barbero flashed A♠J♥ before making an early exit from Day 2.
According to Orpaz, Barbero had three-bet to 20,000 before the flop, then bet 15,000 on the flop.

On the latest PokerNews Podcast, Chad Holloway and Connor Richards welcome Matt Hansen as a new co-host of the show. Matt has been doing a lot of work behind the scenes for PokerNews, and now we're putting a microphone in front of him to draw on his deep knowledge of the industry and get some of his hot takes.
That included his thoughts on the WSOP Paradise schedule, a poker player's yacht burning in the Mediterranean, and Ben Mintz returning to BarStool after Dave Portnoy bought back the company.
Chad then chats with this week's guest, Lukas "RobinPoker" Robinson, the new PokerNews Online Poker Ambassador. He talks about playing 1,000 hours of poker in 100 days, playing the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event alongside his father, and how listeners can have a chance at a $10,000 seat in December's World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship at Wynn thanks to a special promotion in conjunction with WPT Global.
Listen to those stories and more on the latest episode of the PokerNews Podcast!
Heads-up on a board of K♠5♣4♦9♣, Tom Orpaz bet 22,000 from the big blind and Renat Bohdanov called under the gun.
The river came the 10♥ and Orpaz checked. Bohdanov then moved all in for 130,000.
"If I show you show?" Orpaz asked as he turned over 7♥6♥ and mucked. Bohdanov exposed the J♠ and left his other card face down as he took in the pot.
