Long Tank by Rezaei Results in No Call

Nível 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Ramzi Karam opened to 7,000 and Armin Rezaei defended the big blind. As they headed to the {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop, Rezaei check-called for 6,000 and they checked the {9-Clubs} turn. The {k-Hearts} fell on the river and Rezaei led for 10,000.

Karam raised to 57,000 and that sent his opponent into a long tank. More than five minutes passed and Rezaei folded, then asked "did you have cappa cappa?" Karam didn't reply but Leonardo Patacconi chimed in "why do you use Italian because I am the only Italian on the table?!".

Abdelmoumene Out Before the Bubble

Nível 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Karim Abdelmoumene
Karim Abdelmoumene

In a battle under the gun versus middle position, Karim Abdelmoumene checked the {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} turn and then called a bet worth 30,000 by Justin Saliba from two seats over. Abdelmoumene checked again the {a-Spades} on the river and Saliba bet 90,000 for most of Abdelmoumene's stack.

The call followed and Saliba tabled the {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for a set of sixes, as Abdelmoumene flashed the {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for the top two pair. Down to a short stack, Abdelmoumene bowed out shortly after and missed out on the money.

Kiriopoulos Eliminates Yankov in Two Hands

Nível 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Demosthenes Kiriopoulos
Demosthenes Kiriopoulos

The action folded around to Demosthenes Kiriopoulos on the button who raised it up. Krasimir Yankov shoved all in from the small blind and Kiriopoulos called off his stack for around 70,000 chips.

Demosthenes Kiriopulos: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Krasimir Yankov: {j-}{j-}

It was a classic flip and the flop of {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} had plenty of sweaty options still to be determined. However, it was the {k-Hearts} on the turn that all but sealed the double up for Kiriopoulos as the {8-Spades} on the river also improved him to a flush.

On the next hand, Kiriopoulos raised to 6,000 and Yankov went all in for his remaining 8,000 which got a quick call from the Canadian. Kiriopoulos held {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} against the {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} of Yankov.

The board ran out {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} for Kiriopoulos to make another flush and Yankov was eliminated just shy of the money.

Lie Felted by Badziakouski

Nível 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Aylar Lie had seen her stack reduced to fumes in a previous hand and she was then all-in for the last 3,500. Mikita Badziakouski called and so did Jules Hamidou in the big blind. On the {k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop, Hamidou check-called for 3,000 and check-folded the {10-Spades} turn when Badziakouski bet another 10,000.

Aylar Lie: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Mikita Badziakouski: {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The {9-Diamonds} river was a blank and the miracle comeback for Lie was crushed as she bowed out just before the money.

Moraes Goes Runner Runner to Bust Gamboa

Nível 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Rafael Moraes
Rafael Moraes

Quilcate Gamboa three-bet jammed for the last 20,000 on the button and Rafael Moraes called to put his fellow countryman at risk.

Quilcate Gamboa: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Rafael Moraes: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}

The {9-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop changed nothing yet but Moraes went runner-runner to the nut straight thanks to the {10-Clubs} turn and {q-Diamonds} river. With some short stack bustouts just prior, the field was reduced to the final 167 players.

Big Stacks in the Room

Nível 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Quoss Doubles Through Deak

Nível 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Ferenc Deak open-jammed as the far bigger stack out of the small blind and Fabian Quoss called all-in from the big blind for the 52,500 he had behind.

Fabian Quoss: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Ferenc Deak: {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

The kicker played on the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} board and Quoss doubled.

Two of the three remaining PokerStars ambassadors can be found on the same table in Benjamin Spragg and Rafael Moraes. Ramon Colillas is also still in the mix with an above-average stack while Andre Akkari has been eliminated some time ago.

Regonaschi Jams Into Vayssieres

Nível 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Marco Regonaschi raised it up for Nicolas Vayssieres to defend out of the blinds and the Frenchman then checked the {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop. Regonaschi bet 14,500 for Vayssieres to call and another check by the latter followed on the {5-Hearts} turn.

Regonaschi moved all-in with the covering stack and Vayssieres folded after brief consideration.

Mantor Leads the Pack; Yotsushika Chips Up

Nível 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A medium-sized pot emerged to the {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} turn on which Kazuhiko Yotsushika bet big for 100,000 out of the big blind. Jussi Nevanlinna went into the tank and the clock was called on him. Thirty seconds ran down without any decision and the hand of the Finn as declared dead as Yotsushika chipped up once more.

A few tables over, Didrik Mantor appears to be the current chip leader and he has several shorter stacks fighting for survival. Two of them were involved in the pot just now when Matas Cimbolas min-raised to 6,000 and Natalia Samsonova three-bet jammed for 23,000. Cimbolas tanked and folded eventually.

Samsonova won the pot but bowed out soon after.
