The PokerStars European Poker Tour London continues with Day 3 of the £5,300 EPT Main Event, and action will resume shortly from Hilton Park Lane at noon local time.

There are 80 players returning to the felt out of the 749 total entries which created a prize pool of £3,632,650. All remaining players are in the money and have locked up £9,750, but all are hoping to continue their run to become the eventual EPT Main Event champion and win the £664,400 first-place prize.

Leading the way is Frenchman Julien Sitbon with a stack of exactly 1,000,000, good for 200 big blinds when play resumes. Brazilian Pedro Garagnani (930,000) and English high roller Ben Heath (914,000) round out the top three stacks.

A few other players still in the mix include poker legend Erik Seidel (180,000), recent £50,000 EPT Super High Roller winner Henrik Hecklen (354,000), and PokerStars Ambassador Ramon Colillas (385,000), who is looking for another deep EPT Main Event run after finishing seventh earlier this year in Monte Carlo.

A shot clock will be implemented from the start of Day 3. On Day 3, and at the start of each following day, players will receive five 30-second time bank cards.

Play will resume on Level 16 with blinds at 2,000/5,000 with a 5,000 big blind ante, and five 90-minute levels are scheduled to be played today with 20-minute breaks in between each level.

Stay tuned as the PokerNews live reporting team continues to bring updates from EPT London until a champion is crowned.
