Lococo Sends Mach on Extended Break

Nível 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Alejandro "Papo MC" Lococo
Alejandro "Papo MC" Lococo

As players were standing up to go on their first break of the day, Alejandro Lococo moved all-in in the small blind for Jan Mach's remaining one million chips in the big blind. Mach woke up with a hand and called.

Jan Mach: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Alejandro Lococo: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The board ran out beautifully for Lococo as the {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop gave him top pair and a flush draw. The turn {3-Clubs} sealed the hand for Lococo, and an inconsequential {q-Diamonds} fell on the turn.

Will the win, Lococo's stack has hit the five million mark.

Blaha Takes from Lococo

Nível 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

With 300,000 in the pot and {6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} on the board, Jan Mach and Roman Blaha checked from the blinds and Alejandro Lococo bet 240,000. Mach folded and Blaha came along from the big blind.

The turn was {q-Diamonds} and Blaha bet 225,000. Lococo called and the river was {7-Hearts}.

Both players checked the river and Blaha turned over {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a flush. Lococo mucked the losing hand while Blaha dragged a pot to put him near 4,000,000 in early Day 3 action.

Nível 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Meir Avigal
Meir Avigal

Tal Herzog raised under the gun to 105,000 and was called by Meir Avigal in the cutoff and Anton Markov in the big blind.

On a flop of {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, Herzog continued for 150,000, then Avigal moved all-in for about 500,000. Markov folded, but Herzog called to put his tournament life at risk.

Tal Herzog: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Meir Avigal: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

Avigal's top pair was in rough shape against Avigal's flopped set, but the {9-Clubs} gave Herzog hope, and then the {8-Hearts} gave him the hand, as he went runner-runner to a winning straight, leaving Avigal with under three big blinds.

Panagiotou Doubles Through Koziol

Nível 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Radoslaw Koziol raised under the gun and was met with an all-in from Vasileios Panagiotou for a little under 500,000.

Vasileios Panagiotou: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Radoslaw Koziol: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

A {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop gave Panagiotou the lead, and the {a-Spades} and {a-Clubs} on the turn and river slammed the door on the hand.

Konopka Setting a Sharp Pace

Nível 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The PokerNews team was alerted to a sequence of hands where Karol Konopka sent two players to the rail.

In the first hand, Eirmas Tomkevicius shoved for around 400,000 from the button and Konopka called from the blinds to put him at risk.

Eirmas Tomkevicius: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Karol Konopka: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Konopka turned a set of tens to eliminate Tomkevicius in early Day 3 action.

A few moments later, Konopka was at it again. The Czech Republic native opened with a raise and Juan Vecino three-bet shoved for nearly 1,000,000. Konopka called to put him at risk.

Juan Vecino: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Karol Konopka: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The board ran out {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Konopka spiked a flush on the river to send Vecino to the rail and cross the 6M mark.

"Jack High is Good?"

Nível 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Alejandro "Papo MC" Lococo
Alejandro "Papo MC" Lococo

PokerStars Ambassador "Papo MC" Alejandro Lococo raised in the cutoff to 80,000 and got calls from Jakub Koleckar in the small blind and Tjenno Eskes in the big blind.

The blinds checked to Lococo on the {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Spades} flop and he fired out 140,000.

Both his opponents called to see the {9-Hearts} double pair the board. Koleckar and Eskes check to Lococo again, who quickly tapped the table.

The {2-Hearts} fell on the river and once more the blinds checked to Lococo, and after some deliberation, he opted to wave the white flag and ask, "jack high is good?"

It certainly wasn't, as Eskes showed {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Koleckar showed {9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for the winner.

Chip leader Karol Konopka continues to mow down the field at the beginning of Day 3.

First Konopka called the roughly 600,000 chip all-in of Andreas Putz.

Andreas Putz: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Karol Konopka: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

The board came {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Diamonds} to eliminate Putz.

Immediately after that, Putz raised under the gun and got a call from Kalle Persson in the big blind.

The {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop was checked through but after Persson checked the {5-Clubs} on the turn, Konopka bet 175,000.

Persson called and checked again on the {q-Diamonds} river. Konopka bet 250,000 and Persson quickly called to see Konopka roll over a flopped set with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}.
