Ayyad Finds Flush on the River

Nível 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Abdessamad Ayyad open-shoved for 165,000 from under the gun and Yann Nasser called from middle position. Action folded to Yuma Tominaga, who three-bet shoved from the button. Nasser called and action was three ways, with Ayyad and Tominaga at risk.

Abdessamad Ayyad: {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Yuma Tominaga: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Yann Nasser: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The board ran out {6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs} and the river brought flush for Ayyad to triple his stack. Tominaga picked up a small side pot with pocket kings, while Nasser remains up on the day, despite this setback.

Siljander's bet of 60,000 on the {j-Diamonds} turn was also called by Kuliberda. Siljander checked on the {k-Spades} river and folded once his oppponent moved all-in for 151,000.

Luther Gets Big Double Through Popovic

Nível 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Nikita Luther
Nikita Luther

Nikita Luther has grown her stack significantly throughout Day 2. She started with 81,000 and has since added a zero to the end of that total.

In a recent hand, she raised under the gun to 21,000 and got calls from Arnel Popovic in middle position and Nicolas Vayssieres in the big blind.

The flop came {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, and after Luther checked, Popovic bet 26,000. Vayssieres folded and Luther made the call.

The {4-Spades} fell on the turn, and again Luther checked to Popovic, who bet 66,000.

Luther cut out calling chips, counted the rest of her 358,000 chip stack, then announced that she was all-in.

After some brief thought, Popovic called to see bad news.

Luther turned over {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}, which had Popovic's {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} needing help on the river.

That help didn't come, as the dealer turned over the {9-Hearts}, sending Luther's stack over 800,000.

Lakerveld and Amiard Felted by Calderone

Nível 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

A monster hand had just wrapped up between Eros Calderone (early position), Daniel Lakerveld (cutoff) and Laurent Amiard (big blind). Amiard was all-in preflop as the short stack, with Calderone and Lakerveld getting all their chips in the middle on the {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop.

Laurent Amiard: {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Daniel Lakerveld: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Eros Calderone: {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

The {q-Clubs} kept Calderone in front and secured the double KO on the {9-Hearts} river. A table mate quipped to Calderone that he is the new boss, Calderone replied with a wink - "I have always been the boss,"

Metsla Over a Million

Nível 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With action picked up on the turn with the board reading {5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{k-Clubs} and approximately 160,000 in the pot already, [Removed:453] checked to Mark Metsla, who bet 68,000.

[Removed:616] called, leaving himself approximately 250,000 behind to see the {10-Spades} on the river.

Both players checked, with [Removed:616] showing {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}, which fell to Metsla's {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

With the win, Metsla dragged enough chips to put himself over the one million mark.

Nível 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Raz Tal: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Alexander Lemme: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Just before the dealer ran out the board, Tal used his "one time."
