Pyzara Felts Calamusa and Nader

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Kacper Pyzara
Kacper Pyzara

Earlier on in the day, Kacper Pyzara predicted that he would eliminate his table mate Pierre Calamusa, and that was a possibility following a three-way all-in.

Calamusa jammed for 90,000 from middle position, with Amjad Nader calling off his short stack. Kacper Pyzara called from the button with the covering stack.

Amjad Nader: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}
Pierre Calamusa: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Kacper Pyzara: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

It looked like Pyzara was wrong about his foretelling after the {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop but of course, the {a-Hearts} hit the turn. The {7-Spades} completed the board for Pyzara to scoop and knock two out in the process.

After a series of raises pre-flop, Bhavin Khatri and Marius Constantin found all their chips in the middle with the latter at risk of elimination.

Marius Constantin: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Bhavin Khatri: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Khatri paired up for the lead after the {k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop and would seal the bust out after the {5-Diamonds} turn and {8-Hearts} river.

Geilich's Aces Cracked

Nível 2 : 100/100, 100 ante
Ludovic Geilich
Ludovic Geilich

Ludovic Geilich opened to 500 from early position and was called by the cutoff and Adolfo D'aniello (button). Geilich fired for 1,200 on the {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop, the cutoff called and D'aniello raised to 3,500. Both players called.

On the {5-Diamonds} turn, action checked to the button who fired for 5,000 and again both of his opponents called. Action checked through on the {j-Clubs} river. Geilich turned over his pocket aces but they were bested by D'aniello's {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, which was good for two pair.

Also at the table is GUKPT regular Bhavin Khatri, he was unable to progress from Day 1c and is now trying his luck in Day 1d.

At 7 p.m. on Monday, March 7, the final starting flight of the €1,100 Eureka Main Event begins. Day 1d is expected to have an extensive field, as it is the last chance for players to make it through to Day 2, which takes place tomorrow, Tuesday, March 8.

The first two starting flights saw 1068 entries, with just 159 of those players making it through to the next stage. Day 1c is currently underway and has already seen over 1,100 entries.

Each participant that makes it through to Day 2 will lock up a min-cash. That figure will be determined when late registration closes in this starting flight. Day 1d will come to a close when just 15% of the field remains and those players will combine with the survivors from the previous fields.

Players in the €1,100 Eureka Main Event will start with 30,000 in chips and play 20-minute levels. One re-entry is available for each player and registration will continue through Level 10.
