Bessaev Making Big Moves

Nível 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

A player in the cutoff raised to 2,500 and Oleg Bessaev called from the button. The player in the big blind came along and action was three-handed.

The flop was {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Both players checked and Bessaev bet 6,000. The big blind folded and the cutoff called.

The turn was {j-Hearts} and the cutoff checked. Bessaev fired 10,000 and the cutoff check-called to see {a-Spades} on the river.

The cutoff fired 10,000 on the river and Bessaev gave it a moment of thought before he called. The cutoff turned over {a-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for aces and threes, but Bessaev showed {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} to take the pot with aces and jacks. Bessaev wins another one and he has vaulted to the top part of the leaderboard.

Nível 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Masato Yokosawa
Masato Yokosawa

Masato Yokosawa was short-stacked and all in preflop versus Patrick Bechard and 2013 EPT Deauville Main Event Champion Remi Castaignon.

With action on the river for a side pot with the board reading {2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{9-Hearts}{k-Spades}{3-Clubs}, Castaignon checked to Bechard, who bet 10,000. Castaignon called for most of his remaining stack.

Bechard showed {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a winning top two pair. Castaignon showed a losing {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}, while Yokosawa showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} to eliminate him from the flight, but the GPI award-winning Poker Personality of the Year says he'll be entering tonight's flight B.
