Jose Manuel Gonzalez just lost a decent chunk of his stack after a preflop battle with Thi Nguyen.
Gonzalez opened from the hijack and was three-bet by Nguyen in the small blind. Gonzalez then came back with a four-bet to 11,700 which Nguyen called.
On the 
flop, after Nguyen checked to Gonzalez, drawing an 8,000 chip bet from the Eureka High Roller champ, she check-raised him to 20,000.
Gonzalez called, leaving himself about 20,000 behind.
The turn 
was then checked through and another seemingly useless card on the river, the

which was good, as Gonzalez mucked his cards and the pot was pushed to his opponent.
