Kabrhel Scores Big Double Through Nemeth

Nível 15 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Andras Nemeth raised to 24,000 from under the gun and Martin Kabrhel defended his big blind.

The flop was {k-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Kabrhel check-called 22,000. The turn was the {10-Diamonds} and Kabrhel again checked.

This time Nemeth bet 70,000 and Kabrhel called.

The river was the {2-Diamonds} and Kabrhel checked. Nemeth bet enough to put Kabrhel all in, and he snap-called.

Nemeth showed {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for two pair, kings and deuces, but Kabrhel had that beat with {k-Spades}{10-Hearts} for kings and tens.

"So that's what you're straddling with Hungary," said Kabrhel. "Ace-high, huh?"

Nemeth Tries to Push the Tempo

Nível 15 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Andras Nemeth opened to 24,000 from the cutoff, but folded to a shove from Timothy Adams for around 80,000 on the button.

On the next hand, Nemeth opened to 24,000 and Daniel Dvoress defended his big blind. The flop came {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} but Dvoress check-folded to a continuation bet of 12,000 from Nemeth.

Adams Doubles Through Dvoress

Nível 15 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Daniel Dvoress opened to 32,000 from the cutoff and then called the 86,000 jam from big blind Timothy Adams.

Timothy Adams: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Daniel Dvoress: [aqc]

Adams was dominated and looked to be on the verge of elimination after the {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop. The {k-Diamonds} turn was the miracle card Adams needed and he got the double-up following the {4-Diamonds} river.

Nemeth Pressuring Kabrhel

Nível 15 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel limped and Andras Nemeth announced all in. It folded back to Kabrhel.

"Normally in this position I have aces and I snap call," he said to Nemeth. "Actually, no I wouldn't I would slow roll."

He eventually folded. In the next hand, Nemeth min-raised from under the gun and it folded to Kabrhel.

"It's a straddle! Targeting my big blind," again he took his time before eventually folding.

Chip Counts at the Break

Nível 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Petrangelo Eliminated Before the Break

Nível 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

Nick Petrangelo was all in for 100,000 exactly holding {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} against the {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades} of chip leader Andras Nemeth.

The flop {k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} did give Nemeth a gutshot, but the {4-Diamonds} on the turn was enough for him to send Petrangelo to the rail, as the {8-Spades} came on the river.

Nemeth Cracks Jacks to Bust Gierse

Nível 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Marius Gierse
Marius Gierse

Martin Kabrhel opened to 20,000 from the hijack before Andras Nemeth three-bet to 60,000. Marius Gierse jammed from the button for 143,000.

Action was back on Kabrhel who made the fold and Nemeth dipped his a head a little.

"I knew you three-bet me with shit," Kabrhel remarked. After a few moments, Nemeth called.

Marius Gierse: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Andras Nemeth: {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Nemeth paired up and had a flush draw on the {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop. He had the jacks drawing dead on the {6-Hearts} turn before the {5-Spades} hit the river.

Dvoress' Turn to Double

Nível 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Stephen Chidwick opened to 20,000 from early position before Daniel Dvoress moved all-in for 82,000 from the next seat over. Action folded back to Chidwick who quickly called.

Daniel Dvoress: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Stephen Chidwick: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Dvoress superior ace would remain best as the board ran out with the {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}.
