Maria Ho and Lauren Roberts are back in the running after playing Day 1a yesterday. Footballer Jimmy Kebe has also entered the fray and is out of the starting blocks already.
Jack Sinclair and Tomas Jozonis were eliminated on Day 1a and take another shot in Day 1b, and they happen to be on the same starting table thus far.
Sinclair already bumped up his stack while Jozonis took a hit, but the third-place finisher of the previous year just recovered some losses against Evy Kvilhaug. Jozonis three-bet to 1,300 preflop and was called to see a flop of . Kvilhaug called a bet of 1,200 and Jozonis check-raised the turn from 1,600 to 5,000.

Alexandru Papazian had made some headway from the 30,000 starting stack but he is back to where he started after losing a pot against Toni Zengovski.
The board read and after a check from Zengovski, Papazian bet 3,600 into a 5,500 pot. Zengovski made the call and turned over , which was good to take the pot against Papazian's .
Sergio Castelluccio raised to 1,800 from the big blind and Scott Wellenbach was the only caller on the button. The flop was and Castelluccio check-called 2,800 from the Canadian. Both the turn and river got checked back and forth.
Castelluccio showed , Wellenbach revealed and won the hand.
Nathan Gozlan raised to 300 and was called three ways by Scott Wellenbach, Shakhabiddin Muradov, and Viliyan Petleshkov. On a flop of , only Petleshkov check-called a bet of 400 and the turn was checked. After the river, Petleshkov made it 2,000 to go and he folded to the push of Gozlan.
There were four players in on a flop and Marcuss Liow lead for 800 into the pot. Only Maria Ho called, who was playing on his direct left, and they went heads up to the turn.
It was the and Liow check-raised Ho's 3,500 bet to 11,000. Ho checked her cards and made the call. On the river Liow checked again and Ho moved all-in, which Liow snap-called.
