Romero Quickly Gives Up

Nível 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Albert Daher opened to 1,000 in middle position and was called by Morten Klein in the small blind. James Romero three-bet to 4,600 in the big blind and Daher called while Klein stepped aside.

The flop came {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and both players checked to the {10-Clubs} on the turn. Romero led out for 4,200 but Daher stuck around to see the {10-Diamonds} on the river. Romero checked this time and Daher reached out to make a bet, which quickly prompted Romero to muck his cards.

Boivin Plays It Safe

Nível 3 : 100/300, 300 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu raised it up from under the gun and Thomas Boivin re-raised to 3,000 on the button. Jean-Noel Thorel flat-called from the small blind and Kisacikoglu also made the call. The flop came {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades} and all three players opted to knuckle the table.

The turn brought the {9-Hearts} and Thorel took the initiative with a bet of 3,500. Kisacikoglu called and Boivin came along as well. The river was the {5-Spades} and the action checked to Boivin who quickly checked it back, assuming he could get no value from his hand.

Thorel tabled {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}, Kisacikoglu showed {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, but it was Boivin with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for the best hand and he scooped the pot.

Peters Shoves on Chobineh

Nível 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

With a board reading {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, David Peters and Bahram Chobineh were heads-up in a pot. Chobineh checked to Peters who bet 4,500 into a pot of around 7,000 and Chobineh called.

The {10-Hearts} paired the board on the river and Chobineh tossed in a bet of 11,100. Peters eyed up his opponent's stack and then moved all in for 38,800. Chobineh had a decision for his tournament life but he sent his cards to the muck and the pot went to Peters.

Lauren Roberts
Lauren Roberts

Lauren Roberts just recently took a seat along with a few others and it didn't take long to get her feet wet. After a raise from Francisco Benitez, Roberts stuck in a three-bet to 2,600 directly on his left. The action folded back to Benitez who called to see a flop of {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}.

Benitez check-called a bet of 2,400 from Roberts and the {a-Diamonds} landed on the turn. Both players checked and the {3-Hearts} hit the river. Benitez tossed in a bet of 10,000 and Roberts responded with a raise to 25,000. Benitez thought for his allotted 30 seconds and then mucked his cards.
