Bendinelli Busts to Peters

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

After doubling his short stack after coming back from the break, Giuliano Bendinelli moved all in once more from under the gun. David Peters in the small blind reraised to 227,000 and that forced out Mark Teltscher in the big blind.

Giuliano Bendinelli: {A-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
David Peters: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

The board came {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{K-Spades} and Peters not only held up with the jacks but also improved to a straight to eliminate Bendinelli in 56th place.

Karakousis Doubles With Aces

Nível 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

At the feature table, Mark Demirdjian raised to 13,000 in middle position, Georgios Karakousis three-bet to 28,000 from the hijack and Maxim Panyak four-bet to 67,000 from the cutoff.

Demirdjian folded, Karakousis five-bet shoved 205,000 and Panyak called it off with some disgust.

Georgios Karakousis: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}
Maxim Panyak: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}

The {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop basically all but sealed it for Karakousis, making the {10-Clubs} turn and {2-Spades} river a formality.

Federico Petruzzelli: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

Nível 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Said Butba
Said Butba

Belgian tournament mastermind Davidi Kitai is slowly but surely rising to the top in the EPT Monte Carlo Main Event. Against Said Butba, he collected another decent sized pot to move up to 915,000 in chips.

It was Butba who opened with a raise to 15,000 on the button and Kitai defended his big blind. Kitai check-called 15,000 on the {9-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop before leading out 35,000 on the {8-Clubs} turn. Butba raised to 75,000, leaving himself with just 85,000 behind, Kitai shoved and Butba, caught on the spot, snap-mucked his hand.

Simunic Takes from Schemion

Nível 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ole Schemion made it 13,000 to go first to act and was called by Josip Simunic and [Removed:432] in the next two seats, Andre Haneberg also called in the big blind. "Four champions," Schemion joked and Simunic replied "let's do it."

On the {Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop, action checked to Simunic and he made it 37,000 to go, which only [Removed:433] and Schemion called. The {K-Diamonds} fell on the turn and now it was Schemion that bet 92,000. Simunic raised it up to 225,000 to force out [Removed:433], while Schemion called.

Both remaining players checked the {5-Spades} on the river and Schemion turned over {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, while Simunic raked in the big pot with {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}.

Sfez Switches on the Turn

Nível 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Sadri Saleh raised to 13,000 and Eric Sfez called. Francesco Grieco three-bet to 33,000, which got rid of Saleh but not Sfez. The flop brought {7-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Sfez quickly check-called a 44,000 bet from Grieco.

The {4-Clubs} on the turn brought a myriad of straight and flush options on the table and Sfez removed his sunglasses.

"How much you play?" he inquired. It appeared the Frenchman wasn't waiting for the answer as he quickly glanced at his chip stack before slamming a stack of T-5,000 chips forward. It was for the remainder of Grieco's 140,000 stack and the Italian gave it up just before his 30-second clock ran out.
