Josip Vidovic opened on the button to 35,000 and Sam Cohen made it 103,000 to go. The big blind shoved all in for 123,000, and Vidovic called. Cohen did likewise and flopped. Cohen checked and folded quickly to 125,000.

The turn was a and the river a , and Vidovic scored the elimination with his set. Cohen expressed relief that Vidovic bet as she said she folded jacks.
Viteszlav Pesta just came out on the wrong end of a raising war from the small blind against a late-position Kent Roed. Pesta made it 120,000 to go preflop only to see Roed come back with 307,000. Pesta tanked awhile and folded, ceding the pot to Roed.
We recently learned that the original plan for Day 4 players to play the sooner of five levels (completion of Level 24) or when the field is down to 16 players will no longer be the case.
The new plan is for players to compete until the sooner of six levels (completion of Level 25) or when the field is down to 16 players. If it makes it that far, there will likely be a dinner break between Levels 24 and 25.
Georges Chehade raised to 35,000 in the cutoff and got a call out of the small blind before Matas Cimbolas shoved all in from the big. Chehade eventually went all in and the small blind mucked.
"Race," Cimbolas said hopefully, tabling .
It wasn't though, as Chehade had . The board ran out dead for Cimbolas, and the nines won unimproved.
Another 15 players were eliminated during Level 21 making it 40 left out of the 65 to start the day. Players are now on a 20 minute break before coming back to Level 22 with blinds at 10,000/20,000 and an ante of 3,000.
Just before the break, Anton Afanasyev opened from late position 32,000 before Mikolaj Zawadzki shoved for 243,000 and offered to help his opponent if he told him what he had. Afanasyev tanked before calling with , while Zawadzki flipped over .
Afanasyev won the flip after the board ran and sent Zawadzki to the rails. Afanasyev's stack after the hand climbed to 1,250,000 as players went on break.
Marius Gierse bet 105,000 from the big blind on a board, and Apostolos Bechrakis called fairly fast under the gun. Gierse showed for two pair and raked in a good-sized pot.
Salvatore Bonavena opened to 48,000 in middle position and called when Kyosti Isberg shoved all in from the big blind.
Isberg:
Bonavena:
Isberg needed help and found none as rolled off the deck. Stacks were counted down and Isberg had 476,000. Bonavena covered, but only barely, and Isberg took his leave.
