Draghici Drags in a Pot

Nível 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Lucian Draghici made it 700 to go from early position and Robert Obrtlik called all-in for a solitary 100-denomination chip. Anton Yakuba, in the cutoff, raised to 2,000 and Draghici was the only caller.

Draghici check-called a 1,800 continuation bet on the {Q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop, with both players checking the {6-Clubs} turn. Draghici bet 3,000 on the {8-Spades} river, and Yakuba folded.

Obrtlik showed {10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and lost to the {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} of Draghici.

Salter Continues to Climb

Nível 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

The flop read {2-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Martin Hanowski led for 3,000 from the small blind, and Nir Levy called from under the gun. Louis Salter, in early position, raised to 12,000, which prompted a quick fold from Carlos Chadha on the button. Hanowski also folded, but Levy looked like he had a real decision to make. If he called, he would be all-in. After approximately one minute of considering his options, he folded and Salter added to his stack.

Geilich Calls It Off with Queens

Nível 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Just before the last break, there was over 15,000 pulled into the middle and a board reading {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. The player on the button, Spain's Katsuhiro Muto, had the all-in triangle out in front of him along with 19,525. Ludovic Geilich, who was in the big blind, was in the tank debating what to do with his stack of approximately 18,400.

Eventually Geilich called off and Muto stood from his chair and tabled the {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}. Geilich flinched and then showed his {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} was dominated. The {8-Hearts} river gave both players a flush, but of course Muto's was best to send Geilich to the rail.

Farrell Flying

Nível 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

A raise to 500 from middle position was three-bet to 1,500 by Niall Farrell in the cutoff. Jesse Cohen, in the small blind, four-bet to 3,700 and only Farrell called.

A flop reading {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs} was checked by Cohen. Farrell bet 5,000 and Cohen folded after a few seconds.

Farrell, winner of EPT Malta, is now approaching 60,000 chips.

Simple Pot For Croitory

Nível 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Mihaita Croitory raised to 400 from early position and both Zoltan Purak (button) and Dermot Blain (big blind) called. All three players checked the {Q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Clubs} flop, with Blain checking the {2-Diamonds} turn. Croitory bet 1,000 and both of his opponents folded.

Team PokerStars Pro Johnny Lodden Shoves the River

Nível 4 : 100/200, 25 ante
Johnny Lodden
Johnny Lodden

We're not sure how action unfolded, but when we happened upon the table of Team PokerStars Pro Johnny Lodden we saw him with the all-in triangle out in front of him along with 6,350 in chips. With around 6,500 in the pot and a board reading {3-Hearts}{a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}, France's Bertrand Guenoun was debating what to do.

Eventually Guenoun made the call with the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for trip aces, but it was no good as Lodden had rivered a flush with the {6-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.
