Stephen Chidwick, who finished third in this event two years ago, was just eliminated from the tournament at the hands of Niklas Astedt, one of the players to register just before the start of Day 2.
It happened when Chidwick raised to 1,800 from middle position and action folded to Astedt, who defended the big blind. A 
flop saw Astedt check-call a bet of 3,000, and then he checked for a second time on a 
turn.
Chidwick bet 6,500, Astedt check-raised all in, and Chidwick called off his remaining chips with pocket queens. Unfortunately for him, Astedt had flopped a set of sevens. The river was a blank, and just like that Chidwick disappeared from the tournament.
