Adrian Mateos

Action folded around to Adrian Mateos and he made it 6,000 from the button. The small blind folded but Quan Zhou in the big blind three-bet to 16,400. Mateos four-bet to 44,000 and Zhou five-bet to 85,000. Mateos shoved for 244,300 and Zhou folded after some tanking.

Mateos peeked at his cards one more time, and revealed the {6-Spades} while gathering the chips in the pot.

"Adrian you beast!" table mate Charlie Carrel commented with a big smile. "On the second bullet as well" continued Carrel who himself is also on his second bullet.

Another for Haxton

Nível 5 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Team Online's Ike Haxton raised to 5,600 from middle position only to have PokerStars Team Pro Andre Akkari three-bet to 15,000 from the small blind. After the big blind folded, Haxton called, and then called a bet of 9,100 on the {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop.

When the dealer burned and turned the {10-Clubs}, Akkari checked and then folded when Haxton tossed out 40,000.

Yan Can't Bluff Haxton

Nível 5 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Ike Haxton raised to 5,600 from the hijack and [Removed:17] called from the cutoff. Andre Akkari came along from the big blind, and three players took a flop of {2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Akkari checked, Haxton continued for 6,500, and only Yan called to see the {6-Clubs} turn, which both players checked.

When the {4-Hearts} completed the board on the river, Haxton checked for a second time and Yan put together a bet of 18,000. Haxton thought for a moment before dropping in a call, and he discovered his {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} was best against Yan's {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

Meanwhile, Charlie Carrel has reentered the tournament.

Two Pair Against Two Pair

Nível 5 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Smain Mamouni
Smain Mamouni

Mamouni Smain made it 6,000 to go from the hijack and Ivan Luca on the button was the sole caller. The flop came {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Smain continued for 6,500. Luca was quick to call and the [10h[ hit the turn. Smain checked his option, and called the 16,000 bet that followed from Luca. The river came the {8-Spades} and Smain checked again. Luca bet out 44,500 and Smain called after just under a minute of thinking about it. Luca was proud to show his {K-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for the flopped two pair, but it turned out that hand was second best as Smain tabled {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for the better two pair.

Akkari Busts Thorel

Nível 4 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Jean-Noel Thorel limped in from the small blind and big blind Chris Hunichen bumped it up to 6,000. Thorel called and the flop came {10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. Thorel check called a bet of 6,100 and check called another 13,500 on the {10-Diamonds} turn. The river came the {2-Diamonds} and Thorel lead out for 30,000. Hunichen called and was shown {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} by Thorel. Hunichen tabled {9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and received the pot.

Not much later Thorel got his chips in on {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Spades}, calling it off with {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Akkari had the flopped flush with {Q-Spades}{6-Spades} and Thorel failed to improve with the {4-Clubs} on the turn and {K-Clubs} on the river.
