David Dayan opened for a raise in middle position and got called by Tony Gregg. Simon Higgins made it about 8,500 to go, and Dayan reraised to 23,400, folding out Gregg. Higgins called, and flopped. Dayan said he was all in, and Higgins thought only briefly before calling, about 70,000.

There's always one hand that goes straight into the break, with players filing out from other tables drawn to it to rail the action. In this particular pot Artur Koren had put Patrick Leonard all-in on a board of .

It was nearly eight minutes into the break when Koren asked if he could leave the table. The dealer said no and Koren then asked for the clock.
