Martin Jacobson, a man better known for taking runner-up finishes in EPT Main Events, took the trophy in the €2k Hybrid, which mixed standard laddered payments and seats into the EPT Grand Final. Jacobson won €17,590 on top of his €10,600 EPT Grand Final seat. Other players to have booked their place into EPT Monaco are Farid Jattin, Ariel Celestino, Griffin Benger, Valentino Yasenov Konakchiev and Jose Carlos Garcia.
